So relieved that we found this replacement remote for our older fan. The fan/light would not work and I was NOT going to disassemble the housing to poke around inside. Our old remote got wet. I took it apart and cleaned the corrosion, but it didn’t work.I popped batteries into this replacement, set the code toggles, and voila! It worked. Phew!

This control works just as you would expect. It looks just like the original. It came with a holder, but it fit the original holder already attached to the wall. No surprises, which is good.

Hey, it worked. What else can I say? No need to buy the branded hampton bay one. This has the same exact dip switch configuration and is a few dollars cheaper. It works!
