I use this on everything for car parts since it leaves no residue.

I mean it works. Does the job. I don’t even use it to clean my brakes I have way too many oil leaks and it just helps me make the engine bay look cleaner a little. Great for oil changes too and when the filter spills a bit of oil.

CRC brake cleaner is a very good cleaner and not just brakes. I even use it to clean bugs off the front of my car.

I have been using CRC Brakleen parts cleaner since 1971. Doing many mechanical repairs at home and not having a steam cleaner, or a chemical dip tank at home for Automotive and Motorcycle and Lawn equipment repair Brakleen does and excellent job of removing grease and dirt and not leaving an oily film behind. Right now I have the Cams out of my H/D Motorcycle and I'm replacing the cam bearings, oil pump and Chain tensioners. It's an oily mess but cleans up easily with Brakleen. After Brakleen has been applied and wiped off with a lint free towel, the inside of the cam case looks like brand new and like it's never been worked on. Thanks for this product. J.D.
