Great camera for a GREAT price!!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this Gear Pro for my 13 year old son, who kept asking for a Go Pro. I could not see myself paying that kind of money, so I wanted to get him a camera that was lighter on my pocket but that would still be good for his age. Needless to say at this point he LOVES it. He likes the color, and that it came with handle bar & helmet attachment, water proof case, and a clip. Everything works fine straight from the box, he has taken pictures, video, and submerged it into the water. I ordered him a 16GB SD micro card and it gave him almost 1,000 pictures and over 3 hours of recording time. The camera is easy to attach to the attachments and overall is easy to use. There are only a few buttons, which makes it that much easier to use and handle. If you are like me and looking for something cheaper and still similar to a go pro, especially for a child I would recommend this camera. The price is definitely right!! I am very happy with my purchase and that my son is happy and enjoys the camera.

Cant be beat! Now is beat!
This cam does what I need it to do and do it very well! I use it both as a dash cam for the auto and on my motorcycle. I'm on a HD dresser and even with all the shaking, the quality is still very good! You can spend $400 on a Go Pro, but for less that $50, this cant be beat! The day after I wrote a 5 star review the cam now does not work after 3 months of use, oh well, I'll see if I can get warranty staisfaction

Great Price, Great Camera.
This 'Gear Pro' is a great camera. It shots 5MP 720P ONLY. It is the low end of HD with only 5MP but works great and the touch screen/playback is perfect to make sure you get the right shot. It also takes 5, 3 and 1MP stills. I love the feel and size of the camera, especially the color. It comes with all types of mounts and a waterproof case, which isn't 100% water proof. It lets in some water, but a minimal amount. I still love it. But I got it mainly for that and am a bit disappointed there but not anywhere else. It is super fun for someone who wants to have fun making videos with friends for a small price. GET THE BASIC WARRANTY just in case. Don't spend more than 50$ for one, or else your getting ripped off.

It never turned on
This probably isn't the fault of the store but someone must have returned this item already broken and I bought it and it was broken. It's unfortunate because when I was younger I had same camera and it worked flawlessly. This just wasn't the case. I bought this camera specifically to mount underneath my truck so that I can find and pin point a noise that I'm hearing on the highway... But it never turned on even if I charged it all day it wouldn't turn on. The company took it back no questions asked and I commend them on that and I will give them a higher rating because of it.

I had an Emerson Action Cam and liked it a lot
I had an Emerson Action Cam and liked it a lot. When it recently died I needed a new camera. When I received this Gear Pro I was impressed with all the extras that came with it, but when I used it for the first time I was blown away. This camera is way cool. It is easy to mount almost anywhere, and the video it shoots is outstanding. It will even shoot in very low light, and it is light enough that I have mounted it on a kite and got video from almost 2000 feet up. It is a wide angle lens and that makes the action videos just a little more cool that a normal video camera. I only gave it 5 stars because that is all they had, but I would rate this a 10.

Good cameras for the price
So far it seems to be working fine. I will update this review latter. Someone needs to make a better video on "How to Operate" this camera. So get busy you You Tube video makers! The instructions have very tiny print and I can barely read them with a bloody magnifying glass. Other than that no problems so far. I have had it a few months but have not used it much yet. Seems to be a fairly good action camera "FOR THE PRICE" UPDATE: I mounted this camera to the handlebars of my Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 C That totally ruined the camera. So I recommend using a helmet mount or a harness mount. The 1200 Evo vibrates too much for this camera. I removed one star because it broke the very first time I used it on the bike. At that point I had owned it too long to return it. Oh well, the Go Pro I replaced it with is working out great. NOTER : I have only used the helmet and the harness mount wioth the Go-Pro. Ride Safe

Be sure to secure the camera other than the suction mount (we use guy wires) Good enough to be our sacrificial camera during our
Ease of operation...3/5video quality...780p 2/5, 1080p 3/5 interference lines in video if used near ignition sourcesaudio quality...3/5 (spotty, sometimes missing)mounts... 2/5 Make sure you bring a 5/8" socket wrench to tighten these mounts.Seriously!. Superman himself couldn't tighten these enough by handbattery life...2/5 Never shows full charge. Upon turn on, immediately shows 75% battery lifebattery charging... 2/5 Long...not forever, but long.....ONLY compatible with PC...Not MAC (unreadable file output called "Video Clips")Looks exactly like the Vivitar "Sport" Camera on sale at Staples, for $59.95. Could NEVER be worth $200.00.And DO NOT depend on this camera to shoot one time only events (bring a backup, and NOT another one of these)All in all, I use this as a back up to our Go-Pro Hero's. Mounts need to be tightened well beyond hand strength. Be sure to secure the camera other than the suction mount (we use guy wires)Just good enough to be our sacrificial camera during our 427 Cobra runs.

I love this tiny camera!
Two reviews I read were good. One review was bad. Mine is the excellent one. The camera is very small. I can mount it the bill of my cap for jogging. I can display the recordings on a large computer screen and still see it very well. I mount it in my car to go anywhere . As a security guard, I turn my patrol car on and off all night and the camera turns on and off without me touching it when set to vehicle mode. The recordings roll over about ever 20 minutes because you can't roll over 32 gig. When the SD is full it rolls over the earliest recording. If you set to straight video mode it records about 3/4 of my 1hr 5min jog, about 4.5 gig. When SD is full it quits. I've rigged dozens of cameras for these purposes. This is the best yet.
