Note: The company does offer a potential gift in response to this review.I have purchased several cheaper Amazon sets of bone conduction headphones for running/swimming as well as a pair of Trekz Titaniums (older models). Dogs got to the Trekz, which were the clear winners in terms of sound quality/battery life, but this set (despite the awkward positioning of the headband) is a pretty solid second-place.Pros:Sound qualityVolume - I split this from sound quality because with BC headphones volume is very important. If I were to use this on planes to try and accomplish noise cancellation (not a smart move) they perform poorly - too much ambient noise and you'll get the signal mix from the BC headphones and what passes through the ear.Unfortunately, like some of the cheaper headphones, the optimum position does still tend to be right at the ear canal, but these perform pretty admirably in the traditional anterior-to-canal position BC headphones are supposed to sit at. None of these make great sense because it's an overall poor position for BC headphones in the first place, with the most prominent point of transmission being behind the ear, and so volume is a key feature for being able to use these except in a quiet running environment.Cons:Power button - Not sure what it is, but I have two sets of these and it takes almost nothing to turn the headphones on. They can lightly press against something in a backpack and they will turn on with the telling "Powering On"/"Paired" message playing frequently.Noise Cancellation - Probably shouldn't be a metric for BC headphones on Amazon, but since it is I at least wanted to explain the 3 star. These are meant for the exact opposite of noise cancellation, so I went with the middle-most response since they are doing what they are supposed to.----Overall a good option for bone conduction if you cannot spring for a pair of Trekz (or can't convince the company to do a second warranty replacement under hazard-of-dog), particularly for the price. A solidly better option than some of the other bone conduction headphones both in this price range, slightly above, and slightly below.

So I have been looking for a while for a set of headphones to replace my current ones. I struggle to get headphones to stay in my ears so when I saw this, I figured why not. This set isn't perfect but it still does an impressive job.Pros:Battery life is decentWill stay on your head and doesn't cause problems with glasses (my head is large though)Has a full range of sound (instead of wicked high treble and no base)Can be moved around so that the band is against your neck or up in the air and still worksEars only hurt on the highest of volumesCons:Bass doesn't boom unless the volume is really high but with bone conduction I wasn't expecting muchWith the volume turned up, it can be heard by those around you.Pressure from where it connects with your face may cause discomfort after wearing it for two longOverall, it is much better than I thought it would be (after having tried so many different types of headphones). As long as you do not plan on using this for private conversations or you need a lot of bass, I suggest this product.

TL;DR: this is a great device for quietish scenarios, and a terrible one for noisy ones, or situations that require privacy. If you know exactly how you're going to use it, this might be the unit for you.Details:I'm a bicycle commuter. I ride 2-8 hours a week on roads with cars. I wanted something that would allow me to listen to music without compromising my situational awareness. This fits that bill, but unfortunately lacks enough volume for me to even *hear* my music when there's substantial traffic. For example, a truck crossing the road in front of me or a car idling at a light next to me or passing me on the road drowns out my music entirely.On the other hand, I cannot overstate how awesome it is not to have to deal with earbuds. Since these just hang over your ears, there's no inner-ear soreness to contend with after an hour of riding. Very nice.Putting the volume issue aside, sound quality is decent, but lacks bass. I suspect this will be the case for most bone-conducting speakers, but further experimentation will tell for me.One thing that isn't terribly obvious to people used to wearing headphones and earbuds: if the volume is more than about halfway up, people around you can very clearly hear what's coming out of these, so these are not for situations requiring privacy. Again, I suspect this to be a common issue with bone conduction, but you don't ever think about this with regular headphones unless you're blasting your head off...Overall, this is a nifty little device. I'm keeping it, just not for biking. :-)

These headphones are beyond amazing, I don't care that the battery charge works for like five hours (I'm going to actually test out how long an entire battery charge actually lasts, as I'm actually using them connected to my computer for doing schoolwork and video chats for different types of work.I love the fact that these give crisp clear sound quality, while also slightly dimming out the more annoying noises - but it allows me to hear my child! Now mind you, for most people - hearing one of your annoyances can be stressful... but for most parents being able to hear what is going on around you - while also being afforded the ability to watch 'The Real CSI' for the thirteenth time (Yes Thirteen, I keep trying to watch it in one go - but the child and incidents made it nearly impossible to do this with my wired headset)Not only are they amazing, but they arrived faster than anticipated, and they are absolutely just the most fun and comfortable form of audio equipment I have ever owned! I absolutely love these, and I can't wait to tell others about them!Now I can focus on my Forensic Psychology course and listen out for my little murder devil causing havoc in the household!
