Kanto Speakers SP130 27-Inch Speaker Stands

I should have paid more attention when buying these. They cannot be filled with lead shot or anything. There is no way to dampen resonant vibrations. They are light in weight and putting my KEF R300s on top of them -- though within the weight limit -- does not give me any sense of security = they feel a little "tippy."They assembled easily and the fit and finish are very good. They also look good.I have been thinking that there may be a way to close off the speaker wire hole in the bottom of the upright and fill the upright with lead shot. I'm not sure how right now, but it may be possible. That might salvage them as reasonably good stands.
