Mouldable glass is made from a special liquid and powdered binder that are completely food safe and non-toxic meaning your creations can be used for whatever you desire. Mouldable glass allows you to roll the glass out with a rolling pin and cut or carve out a shape, or carve in detail. You can also roll it into coils, water it down and use a pallet knife to spread/paint or mix colours together to make your own unique colour. Mouldable glass can be used just like clay and is limited only by your imagination. What you get: This is a mouldable glass starter kit, which is perfect for anyone wanting to try mouldable glass, those with a small kiln or microwave kiln as we all know buying Frit /powdered glass plus other items is not cheap. Contains 7 Opal COE 90 Powdered Bullseye Glass Colours: Red, Yellow, Petal Pink, Jade Green, Gold Purple, Orange and Cobalt Blue. These colours were selected as they offer you a beautiful rainbow of colours that mature well when firing. Gold purple is a stunning purple that has a shimmer when fired. You will receive 10g of each colour, the total is 70g of glass. How will I use it: With this starter pack, there is plenty of glass to experiment with. If you just wanted to use each of the 10g colours alone e.g. to roll a pendant backing and shape a beautiful bail there would be enough for an average size pendant. Don't forget mouldable glass is 90COE, this means you can cut a piece of bullseye and then add you're mouldable glass on top. If you have ever used clay or polymer clay - you will know you can make small sculptures/figurines or you could make items to fuse then add to your work such as feathers, flowers and butterflies.
