For the money this is a good fun product.
Comes with hanging string. Only small issue was the writing surface which chalk was a bit difficult to write clearly due to it's size. Suggestion to the manufacturer - use a whiteboard area instead and give pen. It will make writing the days much clearer.

Bought this as a gift for my mum to put with her other birthday gifts and I wasn't disappointed as it looks nicer in person than on the photo, has a shine to it and feels nice and sturdy too.
