Jaya 100% Compostable 6.5" Heavy Duty Cutlery, Spoon, Black, 1000-Count Case

I love that I don't have to feel guilty for using disposable tableware. These hold up to just about any task I have given them - they do occasionally break just at the end of the handle if pressing too hard with the fork - but I have not had a complaint from anyone in my family nor anyone at one of our parties. I have actually had two different requests for the name of the brand and where I got them. I'll keep buying them on our delivery schedule! Hope they don't disappear like so many environmentally friendly options do after a time.

Strong forks, just a tad smaller than usual, but good

I buy these for work, we use them for demos that we do at Whole Foods Market. They work fine and serve our purpose.

The rating would be much much higher if not for this one, crippling issue: the spoons snap at the neck very very easily. They are just to weak at that one point.

Gr-gr-grrrreat. They compost. They are spoons. Throw them anywhere. In your neighbors yard, your pool, out your cat window. Who cares? Return to nature, spoons!! Back from whence you came!

I own a vegan ice cream company and these spoons are perfect. I use them with 4oz compostable cups by eco products and they are a great pair. They are a sturdy spoons that give a much better appearance than just a junky plastic spoon. If you are trying to be zero waste and need little spoons, these are great. They are sort of expensive, so I would only use them if the customer is actually buying something- for tasters I use the little solo .5 oz cups which are also compostable.

These forks remind me of the ones we first started out with at work when we decided to go pure compostable. They snap. Now, these don't snap near as much as the first generation compostable cutlery. However, these do snap more than comparable plastic cutlery or the top of the line compostable cutlery which we went to at work. So, if you need a low price and don't care about breaks, this product fits the bill.

These spoons are used for a chili cook off - they are very smooth and comfortable to use and feel good in your hand.We started using them when one of the participants asked for bio degradable spoons and cups because we use over 1,000in just a few hours. This saves on trash and the price is comparable to plastic.
