270 Lumen Bonfire Vanguard Headlamp - Multi-Purpose Cree LED- 3xAAA Batteries

Very bright and I can see long distance too. It is very nice that it has a high power, medium/low power, and dual semi-side light lighting options. The flash option is an excellent attention getter for jogging or biking at night or as an emergency or signal becon for a partner or two person outings, events, or tasks. It can be used while fixing appliances in tight places where your body blocks out all convenient lighting, under and inside a concert hall stage, church stage to troubleshoot, trace or replace understage sound system wiring, cables or equipment. Great when the power goes out at home or at any building your in. Good idea to keep in the car. When I wake up or when going to bed and don't feel like getting up to flip the light switch, I use the Bonfire Vanguard strapped on my head to read a book at night. It would be great camping too. Especially nice is the fact the light has a stay-put hinge by which I can angle the light to a comfortable down ward position. If you need an up angle without moving your head alot, flip the headband over and hinge it upward instead. I waited to long to get this. I should have gotten it a long time ago. It is very very handy. The lights angel a spread is great.

I bought this headlamp for my wife @ Christmas. Nice light, but after 3 uses in 3 months the center high intensity beam goes out after a few minutes of operation. Seems like a thermal failure, may be the wire bond to the LED. Anyrate, it's now no good and unreturnable.

Nice headlamp, I don't own one at this time but I did use one and it performs well. Only three stars because it does not include a red filter or red LED option.

Very good light. I mainly use for hands free when doing repairs.Wish I did not have to cycle though all the flash modes just to shut it off.But for the price, it has some good features, and the bright mode puts out a lot of light.

I bought this light for my dad who has trouble seeing in the night since he is almost blind in one eye. He still manages to shoot deer with his traditional homemade long bow and homemade arrows. The light comes in very handy for tracking the deer after the shot, and also moving around in his blind. the central bulb is super bright, and the side lights are great for general moving about at night. quality construction, and very easy to use. I will definitely buy more from Bright Medic in the future.

I'm sure you can find a less expensive head lamp but this one seems to be very well made and I think it will hold up to the test of time. I've used this light daily now for a few months and haven't changed the batteries yet. All 4 settings are easy to cycle through and I find that most of the time the low beam is adequate and extends battery life. The headband seems more sturdy and comfortable than others I've owned. I'll try to remember to update this review after about a years usage.

Really bright headlamp with easily accessible controls. Only used for a month or so so far but so far so great. Usually use Petzl headlamps but decided to take a chance on this one and am happy I did. They also included a personalized note in the box!

This is the perfect product for my early morning (in the dark) dog walk.Love the ease of use and comfort.
