Pioneer Photo Albums BCD-1/BLK BCD-1BLK CD/DVD Storage Box, Black

These sturdy, simple boxes are the best value for storing discs *in plastic sleeve* that I've found. Data discs, music discs, video discs, whatever you've got: if you can't find them when you need them, then you might as well not have them. Most disc storage systems I've found are extremely expensive, and they waste huge amounts of space. This system is easy to expand with your collection, and won't break the bank. If you are looking for basic storage and don't care about the newest designer look, these media storage boxes might be for you.

A good fit. I wanted to find storage for my CD/DVD slim jewel cases that would accept the cases with the long side horizontal, and with just enough room over the cases to show the tabs on some index card dividers if you want to make some. Perfect. With this setup, I can quickly flip through CD cases till I find what I want - much better than the plastic cases where you can only see the end of the cases (many of my CDs and DVDs are in slim jewel cases to save space, and thus no writing on the ends). I was hoping to find plastic, but these are sturdy enough they should last a very long time.

They're okay for storage, and they look nice. I doubt that they would hold up well to daily use. But I am storing old CDs and Video tapes in them, and I don't get into them daily... or weekly... or monthly (you get the idea). So they're good for my purposes. If they were a slightly thicker cardboard, they would be a five-star choice.

I have a desk. It had a lot of miscellaneous junk on it. So I decided to buy a box. A small box. With a lid. So I could put my miscellaneous junk in it and reduce clutter on the desk. It took me a while to find this box since there are a lot of boxes for sale. But this is the one. This is the box. It feels sturdy and has a lid. It has my miscellaneous junk in it. Now my desk is clean. Today is a good day.

DO NOT BUY THESE! Very cheaply made and very small - you'd be better off with your own shoebox. These are not covered in fabric - it's just cheap paper. Not worth it at all.

UPDATE May 29, 2016 - I bought a couple of the in April at around $7. Now they are $14 again. What the hell is this? This are made of paper. PAPER! UPDATE JUNE 1st 2014 - THE PRICE HAS BEEN SLASHED IN HALF - THESE ARE ONCE AGAIN AN EXCELLENT VALUE. I use many of these to store TV shows I've burned onto DVD from my DVR. They are excellent, but THIRTEEN DOLLARS? It's a PAPER box. Come ON guys. Time for me to search for a reasonably priced alternative.

Works well for pictures or DVDs

These sturdy boxes are the best thing I've found for CD/DVD storage since swiss cheese! Easily snapped together (I had my doubts from the pictures) and not flimsy at all. These would last a lifetime. I'm glad to see they have other sizes. There are also double cases for CDs available from other retailers.

This box is for my CD's in the car. It keeps them safe and clean.

Buen diseño y apariencia, materiales funcionales pero no muy resistentes. La recomiendo para guardar objetos que no vas a manipular con frecuencia.

These are titled Photo Albums, but be careful on the size. These boxes are sized for CD's or DVD's. I ended up using them, because the photos that I have did fit nicely when placed sideways in the boxes, and they fit nicer in my bookcase, but they really are more suitable for CD/DVD. There are similar boxes available more suitable for photos that are larger on the width. Otherwise, good sturdy boxes. I like the label slots on the front, but do wish that pre-cut cardboard labels had been included. I had to cut my own.
