POND PLANT, WATER SNOWBALL (3 live plants)

I bought this because the all-knowing internet says Monarch butterflies love it. I do not have a pond. I do not have any aquatic plant experience.When the plant arrived I put it in a vase of distilled water and placed in a well-lit room (but not in direct sunlight) as I would do with a 'regular' plant cutting. The next morning I woke up to find the plant terribly wilted (picture 1.) I thought it was over. I emailed the seller (who did respond promptly by the way.) They ensured me that some wilting is normal and that the plant will bounce back. I decided to cut off the rubber bands to make sure they were not affecting water absorption.Sure enough, in just a couple days little roots began to form. In one week, there were clear roots on most stems (picture 2.) Here I am almost 2 weeks from delivery and the roots are even beginning to branch out. The stems and leaves are back to standing upright and looking rather healthy.It's too early for me to comment on the blooms and whether or not the Monarchs will love it, but the seller did their job and delivered a healthy product.

Healthy and well packaged plants...Obvious care and pride was taken to ensure I received quality plants

Wasn't sure plants were going to make it as they had no roots...looked like stems just cut off but after a couple of weeks they finally took root and seem to be thriving.

These plants arrived very quickly and healthy. Put them outside in my small goldfish pond. Hopefully they will stay alive and my fish don't destroy them. Thanks again for the healthy plants.
