Seven Days: Monday-Thursday (Yaoi Manga) Kindle & comiXology

I enjoyed this a great deal, however I purchased this for my Kindle and I have to say that the digital format is quite poor. Image resolution is very low, and if you have it rotated to portrait orientation the small images are unevenly set n the screen. I had to turn to horizontal orientation before pages were reliably 2 per "screen" and of course they're still small. Zooming in was necessary several times, which made for pixelated fine text, and disturbingly normal size to continue reading was annoying. Can't really recommend Kindle format for the book, but I do find supporting the writer and artist worth while. More of their work translated is a good thing.

I read the whole story even before it was licensed, this manga created a warm feeling in my heart that lasted for many days...it's been years and I still can feel a sweet pain in my heart like if I was the one in the story... falling in love, wishing, suffering, longing... I bought the kindle version and the paperback manga because this title will remain forever in my collection.This is the kind of story I want to read to put my mind at ease and forget about the world around me. It's realistic and it is not the cliche story of uke and seme like in most yaois...or the boring love stories that we can see in almost all shoujos. It's just two people who become friends, accepting who they are and falling in love regardless of their flaws...it's about falling in love with the heart and not with the eyes...Volume two is coming in September I think, it is so worthy!!! I love the ending and even though it's not yaoi but shounen ai, a simple kiss made my knees tremble!! I have come to realize that a simple look in the eyes, a smile, a simple touch that can make your heart beat fast or a kiss can be more electrifying than the usual hardcore hot sex when it's done well like in this manga...I must say that I have felt like this with another yaoi too(Don't Blame Me by Yugi Yamada) it's stories/yaois like these two mangas that I want to read always. The kisses are amazing!:)

Seven Days is a wonderful manga, I wouldn't call it a yaoi, because except for some touching and a wonderful kiss, this book is strictly shonnen-ai. Now having said that it still is a wonderful manga! I have found a new favorite author (well two). The illustrations are so beautiful, and consistent, the plot line just starts thickening when it ends.Seven days is about a popular lower classman that will go out with the first girl who asks him out on Monday. 100% of the time he breaks up with the girl on Sunday (Hence Seven Days) saying `I didn't fall in love with you'. At first you think he's a jerk, but then you realize his back story and the fact is that this isn't a game to him, he honestly is looking for love. Now then the upperclassman Shino runs into Seryou outside Monday morning while waiting for Pizza. After talking with Seryou for a few minutes Shino doesn't know what prompted him, but he asks Seryou out. Turns out Shino is the first person to ask him on Monday and Seryou accepts. Throughout Monday-Thursday we aren't sure if they are pretending, faking, joking or serious. As the title states this manga is only about half of their week together. I'm assuming (please be right!) that the next one is Thursday-Sunday. And maybe one after! It's really cute and is definitely worth it.

This was pretty basic, not that that's a bad thing. I read it in one sitting and enjoyed it, and I'll pick up the next volume sometime in the future, I'm just not in a hurry about it. The only negative thing I can say is that Shino doesn't feel as developed as the story implies that he is. I don't know if that's fixed in later volumes, but just saying that he's "nothing like how [he] looks" without really showing what he's like means nil. It would have been simpler just to say he had a few relationships that didn't work out than go on about how the face doesn't match the personality and then not giving much (if any) examples of his personality... Again, maybe it's fixed later, maybe it's not, I still enjoyed the read.

Seven Days....wow..I read this story online first and went into withdrawal when they stopped scanlating it due to its license...yes it's that good....and then I immediately jumped on the bandwagon once I found out when it was going to be released....then went into more withdrawals when the release date was pushed back...Seven days is a gem amongst all the shallow, but smexy BL out there....in this story you don't have all the male population falling in love w/ our main characters...maybe because it's set in a previously all-girls school that it didn't go down that path, but somehow given the feeling and vibe this story exudes,I doubt that it would have gone down that cheap path....Don't get me wrong,I like smut and yaoi, but sometimes the shallow relationships and gratituous sex can cheapen the experience,Seven Days is above all that....Shino and Seryou, more than being the protagonists of a boy's love story, are just two misunderstood youths, not that they have bad lives at home or anything, but people tend to judge them by their looks,especially Shino,he has a hard time keeping a girlfriend because they become dissilutioned with him once they see him for who he really is...There two kids just coincidently happened to meet one day and what started as a joke ended up being something more...Seven days may seem to fast to 'fall in love' but never does the series feel like their relationship was progressing too fast...Now hoping the June will release volume 2 soon....

It seemed like somebody used a cheap scanner and the lowest resolution to scan these pages. Story was great, but some of the text was even too pixelated to read. Not really worth paying for, but if you get the first book you'll end up getting the second.

I agree with the other reviewer's comments. The quality of the scan mine is very poor. There were several places were simply couldn't read the words. It's a cute story and I'm glad I bought the book, but I've seen scanalation sites with better quality.

Very well written manga, however I had to vote it down as it was very difficult to read due the size of the text on my kindle.I could not zoom in to make the text larger, several pages the text was that small I had to skip the page only looking at the artwork in the cells as the text was just illegible.

Cute but short (too short for this price) and bit boring... Very light read thou - quite good graphic - totally recomend trying samples before buying

I got the dogital copy and while the pages and soeech bubnles were legible, the pages were shrunk and not of high quality.Very disappointing considering the price

I just LOVED the way the shipping was handled, super fast and really nice for a international customer like me, besides the book was in super good conditions and I've read it countless times since I bought it! I recommend it to everyone who loves a cute and innocent love story.. between boys!
