If it seems too good to be true then it probably is.
I purchased 5 of the seedsheets and only had the salad have all the seeds sprout. So I guess one star is appropriate? The cocktails and hot sauce seedsheets had nothing sprout. The tacos had 5 of the 8 sprout; the herbs had 1 sprout; no where close to the 8 pods that are supposed to. I was hoping to have a nice little patio garden this year and be able to show it off to my friends and then can lots of salsa and dried herbs. I've emailed seedsheet on the website but no response yet. That's still going to happen because I just spent $150 at the farmers market buying already growing plants. The $15 per seedsheet I spent is down the drain. sigh...

Fresh herbs on my NYC fire escape!
I had fresh basil, parsley, cilantro, dill and tomatoes all summer and I can't wait to plant again next spring! I got the herb, cocktail, and caprese sheets and I'm getting them all again for next year. Super easy to plant and maintain.(note - the picture shows the full kits which I would recommend if you don't have a pot and soil. I bought the sheet alone this time and will be re-using the fabric pots)

Clever "IDEA" but execution fails.
I would like to preface this review with the statement that the customer service folks at Seedsheets are very kind and polite. I was issued a refund for everything so they have the customer service part down.I ordered three sets of these and nothing is growing. I have maybe 3 pods with activity out of 15-16 overall. When you sell a product as a "kit" for tacos, or pickles, etc, all parts have to work. If even one of the "ingredients" fail, the kit is a failure. This is a great spin on an old hobby, but the design is flawed. Now I am over $50 into the product with terrible results. I planted these in my planters on miracle grow garden soil, and I used a shade fabric so the sun didn't beat down on the seeds. Its a 30% fabric so it only blocks the harshest sun rays but doesn't put them in darkness.Seedsheets needs a dedicated APP for care and interaction with your customers. My signing up for a text message interaction seems a weak way to help the customer depending on the package they are growing and when each package was planted. The text messages don’t delineate one product from another. So, for instance, say I have the taco set…….the App could help the grower see what should be happening at any point along the way, history or fun facts about the specific crop, as well as a method to send in a photo with success or to get help with problems. Likewise, a QR-code or bar-code on the package would be a much easier way for the end user to interact with the app and SS. You could also include a user forum, etc.The packaging has a lot of necessary waste in it with little useful information. Gardner’s are “collectors” but the information in the package is either too large or full of information not specific to the product.Based on the limited germination I experienced, I would guess the seeds are of low quality. What did germinate was weakly looking. The product needs a revamp in design; the seed pod must be more robust to allow a greater measure of success. I also use the AeroGarden products, and I get almost 100% germination with whatever I plant. While it’s a little different product, I think that some of the media used could be applicable to the Seedsheet concept. In any event, I really wanted to like this product. As a gardener for over 30 years, I like trying new things, so I was instantly curious about SeedSheets. I don’t believe, however, that you have been able to tap into a new successful method of gardening. After reading the many reviews on amazon, most of the positives are from people who have just received the product and have not planted, or that gave it as a gift.I predict Seedsheets will go belly up within the next growing season unless something radical changes.

DOES NOT INCLUDE THE POT - DECEIVING!
DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE A POT TO PUT THE SEEDS IN. This product is deceiving because it does not come with the pot and when you try to return it Amazon says it has a no return policy. I don’t have a pot to put it in so I can’t speak for the seeds themselves but I have to admit I am terribly dissapointed.

Great mini-garden for apartment living and for reducing cooking costs
Love this concept of growing my own herbs on my apartment porch. I received my Herb Seed Sheet in late July (7/23) and by now (8/21) it is flourishing. The key was sun and good watering. I have previously bought individual plants from the grocery, but I always forget about them so it was a waste of money. So I like having all the herbs in one place. I also bought one for a gift for my sister for her kids to see grow and maintain themselves as a project.

Not bad set up for easy herb growing
Saw it on shark tank and thought I'd try for a patio set up . Half the herb seeds are not growing or are dieing off. The other half are doing fine. Herbs we planted in our large garden separately are doing fine. We followed all directions carefully and only half grew. Might be unlucky draw.

Such a waste of money
Didn't work at ALL. Such a waste of money. I've grown lots of herbs in the past, and this is the first time nothing has grown.
