This is a great product if you're going to have a surgical procedure or similar and have to fast a day before. Two days before the procedure, I had 2 doses of the product to keep my protein levels up. Doses are small, easy to swallow, refrigeration helps. Taste is OK. **Caution: Check with your doctor before using this product before a procedure!**

Great product. I use it for a frail elderly person who needs pureed foods.It was recommended to me by a wound care professional and has been great for getting additional protein into drinks and foods. The flavor is strong, so I would prefer smaller bottles so you could use multiple flavors at once to mix it up a little. Product expires 3 months after opening, so I only open one bottle/flavor at a time.

As caretaker to my 97 yr. old mom; this is a must have staple to keep on hand! Her thin skin breaks open easily and with antibiotics to prevent infection...this product supplies protein she needs to grow wounds back together. This works well! I mix it at least twice a day for her to drink, and she loves the grape flavor. This product is excellent, and it helps her heal quicker. I highly recommend this product!

While this protein liquid contains enough protein to speed up healing and recovery time after surgery or just to achieve optimum health, it tastes like Robitussin. (This is at least the way the grape flavor tastes). I didn’t opt for any other flavor because I didn’t like them. However, grapes usually winds up hot or miss. This flavor has a sugary taste to make it more palatable but I think it decreases the nutritious potential. Since my surgery, I take this at least once a day to substitute for a meal or to hold me over. If I know that I’m going to have a high carb meal, I take this prior to ensure I don’t fill up on the carbs and to balance out the meal.I’m not sure if I’ll continue this brand because the flavor is very sugary and I hate the aftertaste but sadly it tastes better than some of the other brands that are out there so maybe I just need to pick a different flavor.

This tastes better than I thought it would! I use 1oz medicine cups to pour it in my 16oz bottle of water (after drinking a little out to make room) shake it up really good and there’s a slight citrus almost tropical taste. The liquid is thick and sticky so I recommend wiping off the bottle after each use to prevent drips and stickiness. I’m a variation patient who since surgery I just can’t tolerate protein shakes. I used to like them pre surgery. I tried the pre packaged 1oz “fuel” and wasn’t impressed but this has saved me for sure when it comes to getting my protein in, especially since I mix it in my water!

No matter what I mix this with, I cannot drink this flavor. It’s hard to describe what the taste is, but it’s awful. There is a cherry flavor there, but there’s an odor and taste to it that’s almost stale or rotten. Had to throw it away, it’s not returnable.

Having been buying this for months, seems to help.

The concept of this supplement is great but my husband did not like the taste, no matter how he tried to hide it.
