Great quality sturdy design. It is a slighter darker grey than how it looks in the picture but it looks great.The Alan key that came with it was too small and just turned without turning the screw but I had one myself so it didn't matter. Was easy to install, soft close works well.Only thing that it doesn't have which some others do is the button at the back to lift it on and off for cleaning which would be beneficial.

So, if you'd have told me six months ago i'd be writing a review for a toilet seat on Amazon, i'd have said you were out your mind! Well here we are in the middle of July 2020 and this is what life is now apparently; sat in my living room on a grey and gloomy day, watching small droplets of rain roll down the window and reviewing toilet seats online. All to distract myself from the never-ending nonsense spewing forth from the TV, okay let's get to it;It's a really well made, heavy duty toilet seat with a soft close lid. I was surprised at just how attractive it is, for what it is. I'm told the grooves in the top of the lid perfectly accentuate the decor of our bathroom and the chrome details are pleasant too. It wasnt my idea to pay so much for a toilet seat of course, but It turns out that my wife really does know what looks good in the house, including the bathroom. The seat is comfotable to sit on and looks good too, it's also very easy to fit and comes with everything included, (which is a bonus, because she may well pick these things out, but it's always left to me to fit/install all of her whims, and i wouldn't have it any other way)If you're looking for a good quality, sturdy toilet seat that stays firmly in place, and dont mind paying (quite a bit) more, this is a great purchase for you. 10/10 would recommend sitting on it.PS; Seriously what has my life come to though? At one point last year we had huge plans, and made promises to ensure 2020 would be 'the best year ever' for us, and yet here i am writing a review for a toilet seat. Ah well, i guess it really is true that man plans, and God laughs.***EDIT***Well, 8 months later, this toilet seat had to be replaced. I originally gave this 5* but had to drop it to 3*, simply because of the durability. It developed large splits in the top and began to crack down the side, the bolts also began to fail, it's sadly not that well made for the price, and its a shame i can no longer recommend it.PS: Anyone else remember "three weeks to flatten the curve"? it's been a long three weeks hasn't it...

I have had many easy close toilet seats but this one is by far the best yet. Easy to fit and works perfectly well.

It's a lovely design, only fault is the ring seat doesn't stay up so not ideal for male occupants or visitilors

Nice looking seat and has a high quality feel to it, only down side is that when lifting the seat upright it doesn’t stay up very well.

It chips very easily

Little chips of paint already starting to come off.

I purchased two of these and the quality is excellent… The closing of the lids is smooth and once fitted the seat will not move.Highly recommended
