This Sun & Rain Portable Umbrella Protects Me
I had a Melanoma and have been diligent about sun protection ever since. I purchased this umbrella for the first time a couple of years ago and it has worked so well that I decided to keep one in the house and one in the car so I'll always be protected. Even in the middle of summer when the Charlotte, NC sun is shining bright, the umbrella protects me from its burning rays. It is incredibly lightweight which was also very important to me since hauling around a heavy umbrella is a real burden. I highly recommend this item.

Gotta block the sun? GET THIS!
Allergic to the sun due to medications-- eg, I spend a mere few minutes in the sun without protection, and I get rashes, blisters, and hives. TOTALLY FUN, RIGHT? But if I'm not feeling up to that party, a UV-blocking umbrella is key. And let me tell you-- this one is great. It's extremely light, and not bulky. Fits easily in my bag, and I often, until needing it, forget it's there. It's also interesting-- it's lined, so you really are safe from that evil ass UV shit the sun spews out when it's up. I love this thing. It's fabulous. If you need to block out the light, be it due to medical reasons, or maybe you're actually a vampire-- this is worth putting your money into. Great value. Great product.

This was a great little umbrella we used in the pool to keep the baby covered!
A little flimsy but great protection

I've been using this for three years and it's been a great value, but use caution on windy days.
I bought this sun umbrella because I hate wearing greasy sunblock that stains my clothes and I'd also heard that it was a great way to feel cooler when walking around on extra-hot summer days.It succeeded so much in making summer tolerable for me that I am every day astounded that everyone in Kansas City, where summers are *harsh* and shade is sparse, has not also started using one. I swear that it feels like it knocks 20 degrees off of the heat. It's been fabulous in the covid age of outdoor dining. It's small enough to tuck into my little pocketbook or in the side pocket of my backpack, and it's utterly lightweight. It definitely will be turned inside-out by a good breeze, but it has never yet torn or broken. Useful against rain and against sun.

No resilience to wind
Incredibly good sun protection, little small but worth how light weight it was. Not sturdy at all though, I only had it a couple weeks and the handle snapped in half from the wind.

Perfect small, light umbrella
Loved this little umbrella. I tried out several "tiny" umbrellas for attaching to my backpack while hiking in the sun. I finally found this one, and it's perfect. Very light, not too "tall," and easily velcros to my backpack strap.I have a mild arrhythmia, so being able to walk in the shade with my hands free is a game-changer.

Don't waste your money
I purchased this for sun protection walking from my office to the bus stop (about 6 blocks). It is useless if there is even the hint of a breeze because it collapses or turns inside out. You are better off purchasing a small regular umbrella for a third of the cost (which I did).

Cute!
We bought to hand out to our guests during our wedding. It was in the middle of summer and the sun was very unforgiving. These are so cute and compact and a great color. Perfect for what we bought them for!
