A troubled marriage stays on thin ice
This couple puzzles me. I don’t see why they stay together. And I never get a feel for what Melissa really wants sexually. She enjoys her extramarital forays but always pulls back despite its seeming to revive her own marriage. You don’t see in their marriage where her dissatisfaction centers on their sex life, and could be fixed by attention to same. She’s spoiled and whiny. Her gambling addiction comes out of nowhere. This book has gambling in the title, but I don’t understand why. It’s not really an element here, literally or figuratively. She’s going to Gamblers Anonymous and staying out of trouble.Back at home after Melissa’s misadventures gambling in Las Vegas, she and Tom face dual challenges: her annoying mother, who hates Tom, comes to visit. And at work, Tom’s boss is gunning for him, jealous of Tom’s promotion directly by Corporate. The boss wants to use Tom’s friendship with two subordinates as evidence of his unsuitability, even though there’s no company policy against it.Tom opens up to the two, Dalton and Trina, about his private struggles with Melissa - and their arrangement. Turns out the couple understands because they’re into the same thing. They offer to help Tom out.Tom gets in trouble when he convinces Melissa to have sex late at night in the store’s furniture department. You know it’s going to blow up in their face. With his job on thin ice, why would he do this? Violet rests his decision shakily on their getting no privacy at home with her mother there (and thin walls), but it doesn’t really fly. There are cheap motels. I don’t see a competent store manager being this dumb.

Interesting
I really enjoyed this story. Karly has a knack with her writing. Keeps you interested with her story line. Sexy buy not filthy.

A good read
There’s a good storyline to follow, and this book had more action in it, and I’m hoping this bundle gets expanded...

Perfection!
I can’t get enough of these books! A very plausible scenario as a set up, and the fantasy is such a reward! Well done!
