It's good that these are inexpensive because it took a few tries to achieve the result I was going for. I had to trim them so that they fit just right and it took a couple of tries to figure out how much to cut. Also, I used a heat gun to shrink mine and they did not shrink evenly. A hair dryer doesn't get as hot as the heat gun and might solve that problem. Overall, I'm pleased with the results. I now have DIY lip balm in a tube with a label I printed on my computer and the shrink band will protect the label from getting dirty!

These work great! However, I had to cut about 1/8" off the bottom so it would not cover the adjustment wheel on the bottom of the tube.

Worked great! I sealed all my homemade lip balms in minutes with my hair dryer. I found it easier to prepare all of the balms with a shrink band, then heat them one by one at the same time. This kept my hair dryer hot and they shrank quickly. If I did one, turned the dryer off, prepared another and then shrank it, it took longer because the dryer had to heat itself up again. These bands are the entire length of the lip balm tube though. I wish they were just a smidgin shorter, that way the dial at the bottom wouldn't be covered and the wrap could be left on. I suppose it would be very easy to trim them a bit, I may try that next time. All in all, very satisfied with the product and will buy again.

Easy to use with a hair dryer. The wrap shrunk smoothly over my paper labels without any wrinkling or fuss. These do have the perforated cap but I was making gifts for kids so I snipped off the perforation before I applied the wrap.
