I have a 10 yr old boy on the swim team. Being a boy, he's not the most gentlest on swim caps, so we go through them pretty often. It doesn't matter whether it's a name brand or generic, at some point they tear, so we've stopped buying the more expensive name brand stuff because we haven't noticed much difference in durability. That being said, this swim cap has lasted several swim practices and a swim meet without any problem. The silicone is of good quality and stretches enough to fit my giant 7 5/8 sized adult head as well as my normal head sized son. The material has a good weight to it and I haven't noticed much negatives with it. This swim cap is a bit different in that it covers your entire ear and also to the bottom of your hairline on the back of your head. It helps keep goggle straps in place, keeps hair out of the way, and as an added bonus my son likes the rhino logo.The included ear plugs do not work with the cap. The center handle portion of the earplug sticks out of your ear canal enough that when you put the swim cap on, it will mash the ear plug DEEP into your ear, inducing quite a bit of pain and a string of expletives. I'm not sure what made me want to try them both simultaneously, but I highly advise you not to use them in conjunction. I guess the ear plugs are for when you're not using the swim cap since the swim cap alone does a good job keeping water out of your ear. I haven't used the nose clip, so can't comment on that.

***UPDATE*** I got this in the winter and wrote a quick review, promising to send a summer review also. I got this item free for my review, but that in no way affects my review.Anyway, I really love this cap. I swam for an hour, diving off a diving board, diving down to the bottom of the pool to retrieve rings, and just swimming laps. My hair stayed dry, except for about a 1-inch strip across the back of my hairline. The front, sides and top stayed dry. It was comfortable, did not leave a big mark on my forehead, and as a plus, I usually wear earplugs, but didn't need to because the side flaps kept the water out of my ears.I use it several times a week and it seems to be holding up well, no apparent wear-and-tear. I actually plan to buy one to keep as a spare.I got this for swimming but also for showering, because my hair is really dry and washing multiple times daily is too harsh. I have tried so many caps and shower caps, none have worked. I was offered this for free to try it and give an honest opinion. So, since it is too early to swim, I put this on to shower after the gym. The cap fit snugly, the compartments on the side for your ears made it very comfortable, it was tight, but not painful to wear. I ran the shower full out on the back, sides, turned to get the front, and it did a great job, kept the water out and didn't leave a red ring on my forehead. I am looking forward to using this in my pool this summer, if it works this well, the chlorine damage for my hair is a thing of the past. I will update this review once it becomes pool weather.

This bathing cap will work perfect, tried it in the shower already and moving my head round te ears do not come out of cap at all, thus leaving your ears dry. What I love about this cap is that it's a tight fit getting it on for the first time but easy to tuck my super long hair into the top of the cap. I put my hair into pigtails then tie in a few knots at the top of my head. My hair does NOT get wet at all. Love the super easy grip around the outside edge all around, it's got an extra rib or two to grab onto making it easy to put it into place. comes with a carrying bag and also a nose clip which i have no idea how to use or put it on. Ear plugs are sturdy but bendable to put into your ears.

I really liked that this cap covered my ears and in doing so kept the ear plugs in. I have had problems with ear plugs coming out during the swim. I did try taking the one ear plug out to see if the cap alone would keep the water out of my ear but it wouldn’t. Need the ear plugs in addition to the cap. I didn’t use the nose clip but did try it on. It is comfortable but I never use a nose clip when I swim. Would cover long hair quite well! Kept the pool water from my hair. Did not pull on hair when taking off.

Kppalex Swim Cap is a quality silicone material that snug fit and is comfortable unlike rugged hard that hurts. It comes with pairs of earplugs and nose clip. I didn't have to use the earplugs and the nose clip but it may become helpful to those who are the beginners and afraid of water hitting ear walls or water pushing its way through nose. It seems like one size fits all. My 14-year-old is going to use it soon and I will update the outcome to see if it's truly versatile to fit most heads.

Love this thing. Took it for a test drive on a 45 minute swim last night and it's great. I'm a man with what's usually considered a size L head for similar things, and it worked great and did not become uncomfortable at all. Way more sturdy than normal swim caps and it looks awesome! The nose clip works fine-- I like the oversized pads on them. And the ear plugs worked for me, as well. I'm very satisfied with this. Recommended!

Purchased this for for my wife. Said she only had water in her ears but only the the hair on her neck got wet. Got figure.
