Family Constellations Revealed: Hellinger's Family and other Constellations Revealed (The Systemic View) Review: Good General Overview of an Interesting and Dynamic Counseling Approach - I liked that this book was concise and a quick read. I received a general overview of the subject which I wanted to obtain before I had my first session. This type of counseling is incredibly powerful for those dedicated to experiencing deep healing and personal growth at an execrated rate. Review: it allows you not only to understand but also to feel the different kinds of Constellations - It is incredible how Indra explains and literally makes you feel each kind of constellation. I resonated with a lot of the examples, and a lot of them allowed me to understand family and friends situations. Now I have a better understanding of the right order of a family system, and the consequences of its malfunctions, I better understand my last constellation, and I have put in practice things like table constellations, and even my place in bed, and grateful changes have started in my life, like a better relationship with my kids, my mother, an even my boss. This book is a must if you want to improve your life, or if you want to take a better advantage of any constellation.

EXCELLENT OVERVIEW of Family Constellations "healing" techniques
This is a brilliant book giving many in-depth accounts of Family Constellations techniques as well as examples from past sessions from around the world. Clearly written and well-organized, it is both a super resource for anyone about to attend/have a Family Constellation (to know what you are getting into and possible outcomes) or after attending a session (to further explain what went on and why). Highly recommended!

Good introduction
My aunt is a family constellator and talked about this for quite some time. As an introduction to the subject I think the book is pretty good with many examples, and has a nice perspective of neuroscience which puts it into a more scientific context. The two things I thought were missing were an overview of the phenomenology on which the theory is originally based and the anthropological perspective which helps us understand families in different cultures and which also inspired the author originally.

It should be the first book you read about constellation
Indra explained constellations better than great Bert Hellinger has done over the course of years in too many books. It is short, precise and to the point without wandering into the evangelical style which Bert likes to sometimes use. Practical examples clearly show steps and procedures - everything is written in contemporary style, easy to read. I am not disaproving any of Hellingers works but when you want to introduce yourself to this kind of work Indra's book should be first, only then creator's of method.

Excellent complete book
I know Indra personally, he trained me as a family constellator. This book contains all the basics you need to know about this wonderfull technique. If you really want to master it you need additional readings, but this book is very clearly explained and covers nearly everything what the systemic view is about. For me it became a way of life ...

I sure could relate to this!
My great grandmother died at age 36 from tetanus leaving seven children; my grandmother died at age 29 from an infected heart valve leaving three children; my father died at age 66 from vasculitis, my son died at age 16 years & 11 months in an auto wreck. And that is just one of the themes I recognized in this book. It is mind blowing! It is well written, it shows examples of groups that were formed from a seeker's question, with the results they got; and then how they released the energy. After my son died, I delved very deeply into spiritual subjects, until I got so weary of it and sick enough to turn my attention to the mundane and start cooking; studying nutrition, avoiding my food allergies. And then to come full circle and find out that a lot of diseases have a spiritual root. I mean, we all knew that, but this book explains exactly how it works.

Bravo Mr. Preiss! This is the second book I have read about Bert Hellinger's method in English; the first was Joy Manne's excellent introduction. Your (Indra Preiss') detailed compilation of practical examples is also a treasure trove. Let me apologize for what I am now about to write since it is a criticism but absolutely necessary for you to know: this book may be fine for people with English as a second language, but the English is simply not good enough for those who have English as their mother tongue. It is "awkward" and "just not quite right" most of the time, which makes it tiring reading. The punctuation is also full of mistakes, there are too many paragraphs, some are indented and others not. You write that the British and Belgians get along well; please ask some nice British academic friend of yours to edit it for you! If you do that it may become a bestseller. If you leave it like this it will remain useful - however - in the realm of the "self-published mess". Your spoken English is obviously excellent and more than good enough for constellations, but the written word is something else.
