Holy grail for chapped lips
Nothing works as well as this. When my lips get really chapped I put a thick layer on before bed every night, and within a few days my lips feel brand new. It’s very moisturizing, with a thick consistency. When applied thinly it’s ultra comfortable and plush and leaves a nice shine. When applied thick it feels a little heavy but I don’t mind it at night. I love that there’s no scent and I find it lasts for a very long time. I repurchase maybe once a year. I’ve tried other things but I always come back to this one. If I could change one thing it would be the packaging, the jar isn’t the most hygienic.

Best for your dry lips
This is the best lip balm I've ever used. It really helps eliminate dry lips (I've even used it in my nostrils). Use it at night and in the morning. You'll be glad you did. I also bought some for a friend who has cancer and she loves it.

Look no more
I can only hope they never change the formula. I tried multiple lip balms before I decided to keep this one. I used it on my eyelids as well because my skin was starting to flake and nothing was helping, but this did. It’s thick, but not sticky. It’s smooth as long as you warm it up a little. It’s super hydrating. And stays for a long time. Highly recommend.

Best there is
This is honestly the best lip treatment I’ve tried over the last 25 years. I use it every night. I like my lip products UNscented and unflavored. Even a tiny vanilla scent bothers me. Besides the fact that this is perfect due to no fragrance, and has a pretty mild natural smell/taste, the formula is the best of any lip balm, lip treatment, healing ointment, lip gloss I have ever used. I’ve recently tried lano lips in a few different forms, which is quite comparable, but this beats that because of its extremely smooth texture and additional occlusive oils. (lano lips golden salve came to me grainy, but still highly effective). This even beats out my life long favorite aquaphor. I still use aquaphor because of its squeeze tube and availability and price., but Paula’s choice is better on my lips and much longer lasting. If I could get a tube form of this for day use, it’s all I would use!

What happened to mine???
IT SMELLS VERY STRONGLY OF BURNT HAIR. It’s disgusting. I cannot use it. I have tried several times but only once could I force myself to leave it on, and I’m pretty sure that’s because my sleeping pill kicked in. Your lips are too close to your nose to have something horrid smelling coating them. The worst part is that from what little time I could stand to wear the stuff I discovered it works great. I cannot go to sleep without lip balm & I’ve never found one that truly heals dry lips. I have even purchased quite a few of the stupid expensive ones, with high hopes, only to be crushed by crusty lips. My lips were smooth and felt great the morning after the one time I got through it but I just can’t. Remember when you 12 and first started using a curling iron on your bangs? You didn’t know exactly how long to hold it there until you saw smoke and started smelling burnt hair? Yeah, that’s EXACTLY the smell…and it’s not Teen Spirit, that was 1990. I’m talking 1986 here. Aquanet & Conair burnt hair smell. I’m not sure if the one I got just went bad or if it all smells like this. I can’t believe nobody else has mentioned the smell if all of it is this way. Chalk up another $20 to my failed attempts at having smooth as butter lips. I did give 3 stars for it actually softening/healing my lips overnight. Really, I’d tough it out but this smell is just way to strong.

It's gold
I've purchased this a few times. It heals my extremely dry lips. I use it morning and night. I try other products because I'm a lip balm junkie, but this works better for me. I am sensitive to flavors, scents and other harsh ingredients. It's a little icky because it's in a jar, but I use a cosmetic spatula instead of my fingers to keep it clean. I need to get an extra one to keep in my purse. One jar does last a long time because you only need a little. Works for dry cuticles or rough skin also. It isn't fancy, but it works better than similar drugstore products. The price has stayed the same for years too. No, I don't work for the company, but I would if they sent me a few jars of this balm.

Very long lasting, works
This is good stuff in that it stays on the lips for a long time and it works well. It's the only product I've found that when I apply at night before bed, my lips are not dry and chapped when I wake up.But, why can they not put this in to a stick like Chapstick? It would be so much easier to use that way throughout the day and I'm sure they would sell a lot more of these, despite the high price.

great product!
This is a great emollient. I've had dry, cracked skin in both corners of my mouth for about 2 months. Nothing helped. Not bacitracin, or any other medicated cream I used. Using this for a week and the corners of my mouth are looking and feeling MUCH better. Thank you!
