All cars should replace their mechanical water pump with this
When my pump failed, my mechanic recommended I get an electric pump with controller. Gives a performance boost, better fuel economy and apparently adds to engine life. First drive with the new pump and you definitely notice better acceleration, no heating issues Money well spent. Very happy.

Genuine product, didn’t work for my car though
*Disclaimer: Reviewing my experience. Product received was genuine and functioned as the factory intended, I assume* Price: Ordering from Australia offered a significant price discount to the ridiculous USA-based prices. Shipping did not take long, but now times are probably different. My most recent order from Australia took roughly 2.5 weeks to arrive. Quality: Fit and finish is good! No metal burrs or any obvious defects were present. All parts function when hooked up to power, and the diagram was easy to follow. The fan activation was strange, as most relays were activated by positive power. This supplied a negative power connection to activate the relay. Function: Used for Mazdaspeed 3 (2.3 turbo 4 cylinder) and the temps would get up to 240 with the radiator fan blasting (with the EWP active, the system bled, distilled water, a working radiator cap, thermostat removed and stock water pump blocked off). I removed the EWP and installed the stock water pump and thermostat. The system had no problems keeping temps at 180 degrees with the fan on (the thermostat opening temp). I assume the EWP was just moving too much volume to cool it effectively. Recommendation: A genuine product that should work on a proven platform. Just didn’t work for me!
