lychee EL Wire Neon Glowing Strobing Electroluminescent Light El Wire,Battery Pack for Parties, Halloween Decoration (Blue, 15ft)

I bought this to emulate neon lights in a shadowbox I was making. The first pic is how the pink looks while off, the second is on. At first I was a little annoyed because the pink is a frosty blue light inside of a pink housing, and the frosty blue is the same light in a clear housing. Pink is a little dim because of this.I experimented with taking the housing off, and if you want a very thin and easy to articulate light it works great. Third pic is the blue with the housing on and off for each triangle.I tried superglue (CA glue) and couldnt get it to cure on the housing. Maybe someone else had better luck, but I used fishingline to hold it down at each corner, and put some kinks in to stay the angle.This was pretty user friendly, and the look is impressive enough that now I'm searching out projects just to use it again.P.s. the noise is there. Turning it on for the first time I figured out which if my roommates still has good hearing.

To be honest, I haven't really used this product. But Amazon has been bugging me, so I guess I'll review it.. It IS nice and bright, and I plan to adorn myself with it come spring (like, for the maypole dance or something similar). I have some artistic friends who use this stuff for all kinds of costumes, and I didn't want to feel left out. So I ordered some! Not many uses for it in the dead of winter, though. Guess I could've put it on the Christmas tree! Didn't think of that.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Lychee 9ft EL Wire Neon Glowing Strobing Electroluminescent Light El Wire, and I must say, it is a good product with some fantastic features. The neon glowing effect adds a unique touch to any setting, creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere.However, I did notice that the brightness of the light was not as intense as I had hoped for. While the glowing effect is charming, it could be improved with a bit more brightness to make it truly stand out in any environment.Overall, the Lychee 9ft EL Wire is a quality product that offers a fun and creative lighting solution. With a slight improvement in brightness, this product would be truly exceptional.

Bought two blue EL wires (Lycheers 9ft 3m Blue Neon Glowing Strobing Electroluminescent Wire (Blue El Wire)). Seller was Sunsbell. Products arrived within estimated time frame, and they worked just fine. Surprisingly bright -- I can easily see them indoors (at work with the overhead lights on, at home, etc). Couldn't see them outside during the day as it was very sunny, but that didn't surprise me. I have installed them on my son's bike, and they look great at night (maybe I'll post some pictures and/or a video of the bike at night). They look so cool that the rest of my family wants some, so I'm going to order more (in different colors). :-)FYI, as other reviewers have pointed out, each controller makes a faint high pitch noise (the windings on the transformers are oscillating). I found it interesting that one controller is a slightly different frequency from the other, which implies that each controller is driving their respective EL wire at a different frequency, but you can't tell any difference between the wires (they look the same color & intensity). The high pitch noise is quiet enough that you don't notice it in a typical room, however, you may notice it if you used these in a quiet room, such as a bedroom at night. If that's a problem, then you could probably wrap the controller in something that would absorb the noise (or maybe open the controller and fill it with epoxy -- I didn't try opening the controller, so I'm not sure how feasible that is).Having just received these, I have no idea how long these blue EL wires will last. I will post a follow-up note in 6 months (or sooner if I have issues with them).Bottom line: Buy them and have fun. :-)

Makes a relatively loud buzzing sound when on. The battery case also feels cheap.

I bought the pink light and it’s such bad quality. The light is dim and the mode switcher doesn’t even work. It’s stuck on a single mode and I can’t turn off the lights without taking the batteries out. Overall, you could probably find better products out there

Emits a soft, even glow. Just be warned; the "red" is more of an orange, but I was expecting that, and didn't really care. You can cut it to any length with no consequences and still be able to use all the pieces, provided you have some soldering skills...The AA battery-powered inverter that ships with it makes a constant high pitch buzzing sound, but unless it's facing a certain direction and close to your ear, you will have to try very hard to notice it. This didn't affect me because I cut it off and soldered the wires instead to a 12v inverter connected to my car's dome light circuit. I am using this to illuminate the outline of the kick panels whenever the door opens, and it works and looks exactly as I envisioned.It's basically weatherproof, as long as you seal the end with either wire caps or silicone (or equivalent).Oh yeah, and in case you were wondering, the wires that attach it to the inverter are 24 gauge...-UPDATE-I bought 15ft of the Blue wire to outline various bits of geometry in my car, such as the cupholder, speaker grates, dash and door seams, etc. It is actually surprisingly bright, to the point where I don't really dare drive at night with them on...Only the core of the wire lights up, leaving the transparent darker blue outer layer unaffected. This produces a unique two-tone effect, though in darkness, it makes the wire appear a bit thinner than it actually is...That being said, I like the way it looks, and will definitely be buying 15 more feet to put the finishing touches on my car, and then probably get some more for my PC... This wire is my new obsession XDThis is a fantastic product, though I can't speak to the longevity of it just yet...

Great deep green color. They do have a little high pitched sound, but it's not terrible. I'm using mine for accent in a haunted pumpkin patch for Halloween, they're perfect for that.

I am creating a games room for my son and wondered how effective this flexible Led strip lighting would be.It’s exactly how it should be, brighter than I imagined, super easy to arrange and gives the exact look I was hoping for.Wish I had ordered more now!!

The product comes newly sealed in a bag. It has attractive metallic packaging and it has a very familiar feel since many products I've purchased from overseas have been packaged this way.The product itself is much smaller than I had anticipated, but that's just imo. Most likely because I have poor number to real-life-scaling abilities. The wires are thin which at first seemed frail but they show no sign of breaking. They're glossy wires. They look exactly like the picture. They have a nice ambient light and have a consistent glow all throughout the wire. Theres no gaps or anything like that.This was purchase for a craft project, we are making a neon sign for an event. I feel like these wires would be good for cosplay. Since they are battery pack operated and not heavy. You could easily sew them onto fabric.
