Mederma Scar Cream Plus SPF 30, Sunscreen, Protects from Sun Damage, Reduces The Appearance of Scars, (20 g), 0.7 Ounce

This is a very nice cream. It dries matte. I had originally thought this would be something I could use instead of moisturizer or as one. It is perfect to use at night when I have on my night cream over it. This cream is not at all greasy. It seems to disappear, and my night cream is a little tacky, so my CPAP mask doesn't slip around. 8 hours of scar cream. Voila. SPF 30 is a nice feature. I am sure this will come in handy. When I do not want an oily mess in Summer this will work well under a good moisturizer and sunscreen. Very nice. Enjoy.

This is amazing! I can't say I've tried too many scar creams but among the ones i have this is the only one that I ACTUALLY saw my scars reduce over time. I wish I had the pictures when I originally started but I don't. I did attach pictures of how my scars look now. For the picture where my hand is showing- this scar was bulging out, it looked like a little lump and now its completely smooth and theres no lump at all. Its also not as bright pink as before s you can see in the picture. For the picture with the long scar: it was a much darker brown color and it has visibly reduced (it was 5x darker than in the picture before i used mederma). Trust me if you are looking for something to reduce scars this is it but you HAVE to be consistent (i put it on two times a day for two months and counting). Also these scars were caused from deep cuts/ scratches and one other that was a burn (the scar that looks like a square- it was a burn from a trash can that was being used as a fire pit. It had a scab and everything and now you can barely see it ). I don't know if time alone healed my scars but i had them for a year and recently after using this cream i saw my scars reducing. Its worth a shot! Hope this helps! :) My friend also used mederma for a scar on her chest where she was shot by a shotgun in a hunting accident and she said she did see it get better but so far that scar looks like it will stay with her for life unfortunately.

This did help, but the deep c-section scar left behind still will not fade, even after 3 or 4 bottles of this over months. It went from a bright red to a duller red. That's about it. Did help fade some of the lighter stretch marks on my belly, though.

This price on Amazon is a better deal than any store. This does work but I have found that you have to put it on scars two to three times a day. I just keep it by the bathroom sink and apply it whenever I go in there. You put it on 4 months and then all of a sudden one day you're scar just disappears. I think most people quit using it before it has a chance to fully work because I have used it on several different scars including a pretty bad burn scar that was completely flat but very red. It took about 4 months and I didn't see any results until 3 months but then it just disappeared and I no longer even have to put it on that scar anymore. It's completely natural like the rest of my skin. I think a lot of times people quit applying it often and also just quit applying it in general because they don't see the results but it is working.

I have several scars all over my arms from a horse back riding accident when I was thrown from a galloping horse causing me to get cut up pretty badly when I slid across the rough dry rocky ground. I have been using this product since the beginning of June. The scars have already noticeably faded. Great product! Will continue using. Before using this I was using best the GNC moisturizing cream with vitamins E, A, & D and the GNC moisturizing cream with vitamin C. I have found this mederma product works best in combination with both these GNC moisturizing creams. I apply all 3 once per day when I first get up in the morning &/or after showers.

I purchased this product based on glowing recommendations of coworkers. Per the package directions, the product requires up to 8 weeks for new scars or 3-6 months for old scars with a thrice daily application for it to work. I have mixed feelings about that as after that lengthy period of time I have found that my body does a pretty good job of healing itself and i am not always near a mirror of face wash 3 times per day for all those applications. Anyway, in my use of this product over the past two months twice per day (but sometimes only once per day), I have noticed some improvement in the color and look of my facial scar. However, I began treating the scar with hydrogen peroxide, neosporin, cocoa butter and my typical face wash, exfoliation, toner and lotion. (After all of that who knows what was actually making the difference!) But since adding the Mederma to the equation I must admit that my scar does seem to have started diminishing and fading more than it was doing without it...so I can't say anything bad about the product--no itching, flaking, acne flare ups or other adverse reactions either, which the skin on my face has been prone to in the past with unfamiliar products. But that's as helpful as anyone without such a complex daily regimine will find this review to be.

Bought this for my nephew he got a pretty nasty scar on his face and it seemed to help it really heal up. It’s not so noticeable anymore

Comletely useless product- if u have bad healing skin u have to wait out the time. No product will make a real difference as i have triec them all. Their claim is false and just marketing.

Best scar removal cream I've used I have scars on my face due to a reaction to medication this has help fade out the patches on my face I use it once daily at night then always apply full sunblock on my face for the next day to prevent the scars darkening again this is really important if you want scars to fade keep the area covered or use total sunblock I use the brand heliocare 360 fluid cream it Excellent and is broad spectrum UVB UVA HEvis IR-A SPF 50+ it stays on all day and provides excellent protection and it has a light tint to the fluid helping to reduce the visibility of scars this is only very light tho hardy noticeable .
