Milani Bold Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette (0.48 Ounce) 12 Cruelty-Free Jewel-Tone Matte & Metallic Eyeshadow Colors for Long-Lasting Wear

One of my new favorite companies! I am absolutely in love with these eyshadows. I chose the bold set because the soft and sultry was out of stock at the time. The rusty colors are a bit more fall toned than I like to be, though they do have a nice pop of color when I want to try it. I love the neutral side colors! So smooth and finely milled! so blendable and it stays on! Better than coastal scents, and I've only ever had one mac palette, but I feel it is comparable. I usually know how to make a dollar store palette look like it's high quality, but this stuff...I'm going to have to get more colors.I follow Dress Your Truth by Carol Tuttle, and I am a type 4, so I look for neutral pure hues and icy shimmers to coordinate my black white and red, and primary colored outfits and skin tone. So the warm tones are a bit out of that, but I can make them work when I feel like my secondary 3 (if that doesn't make sense, you'll have to look up her website and take the quiz or get her book! Totally eye opening and revealing about how our energy profile is reflected in our looks and posture!)Millani, if you could ever get some pure hues, a nice navy and neutral ones I will get it.

This palette is a collection of twelve conservative browns from light to dark. There are eight matte shades and four metallics. It's a very versatile palette. The mattes are great for weekday looks. The metallics let you create a more dramatic look for evening. I especially like the six lighter colors: there are two warm tans and a light and a darker taupe. Plus a shimmery and a matte highlighters. The darker metallics include a warm brown, a cool brown and a deeper brown. There's not much difference in the three darkest matte shades.The shadows are well pigmented and apply smoothly. For daytime wear, they're easy to apply sheer. They blend well too. The darkest shades are useful as eyeliners.I always use eye shadow primer as a base layer. It helps the shadows last longer and helps prevent fallout. This Milani palette is one of the best drug store palettes I've found. I own a Tarte In Bloom palette. The Milani Soft and Sultry is similar, but it has the two lovely taupe shades, which are not part of the Tarte palette..

I usually use expensive makeup products but after years of doing this, I decided to try some drugstore brands. There was trial and error but I have been pleasantly surprised with Milani as a brand. Ive tried and continue to use several of their items, as they have great color pay off, dont fade, and are cheap. I also love that they do not irritate my skin and look great! There is a good selection of colors in eyeshadows and lipsticks, as well as foundations. This particular eyeshadow palette is a great value with very blendable combinations of colors. There is some fall out from the more shimmery, glittery shades but this is something you find in more expensive brands as well. The packaging is not particularly pretty but the product inside is so good that I dont care and again you are receiving 12 different shades!I have officially switched from paying excessive amounts of money for cosmetics to Milani. Great brand and excited to try more from them.

I haven't seen a pallet that's this inexpensive with such great pigment and pay off and a very long time. This is so worth every little penny. These colors are so gorgeous. Not only do the colors go well together but some of them seem very very similar. I swatched every single color and I wish I'd taken a picture to post but I didn't. Each row going from top to bottom if a beautiful Shadow story. On the back there even named. These colors are very Sultry and sexy and absolutely beautiful. They really make my green eyes pop. Also, the Shadows blend very easily and nicely. I recommend this to any woman who loves makeup and who wants a beautiful palette at an inexpensive price.

This is the best eyeshadow I’ve tried. This is the second time I’ve bought this palette. It has bold color and stays on all day!

First of all - I love this Milani Palette colors! A perfect mix of rosy and gold eye shadows, versatile enough to be used for everyday quick makeup and on the evening out. There is not a single color I wouldn't like and they all go together perfectly. The pigmentation is really good too and shadows are very easy to move around the eyelid and blend. I am very pleased with the staying power; my eyelids are very oily and I have to use a base to have any hopes for my makeup to stay on longer then and hour, but even with the base not all eye shadows deliver. This palette definitely does- my makeup looks almost as fresh at the end of the day as it is right after it's been applied. I honestly did not expect this kind of quality for the money spent, so I am very pleased!

Been on a mission for brown mattes.So many raves about Milani & this Must-Have Matte Palate.I was tired of searching & it had a good selection so took a chance.The colors are nice. True to what they appear for the most part.Truly matte but not truly pigmented. No shimmer so, woohoo, no fall out.They just don't last and IDK, not really a Wow factor like my old Tarte palates.Really wish I would've gone to a store to check it out, instead of relying on vids.Ended up picking up the Smashbox lens cap in Light like I should have originally.Sometimes you just get lost in options instead of going with your gut.Love that Milani is a Cruelty Free, Female Business & I wish them the best.It's just you know when everyone raves, you're not prepared it could let you down.On the bright side, as I'm the MUA in my group, it'll look great on a friend, with primer.
