This expansion may not be the best one I've bought, but it does add a little tiny bit of bribery into the game. having one extra person isnt that exciting and paying 2 coins to get it back isnt that exciting also. If you are going to purchase this, I would recommend offering 2 or more coins. This lets you get you leader from the 'capturer' by offering more coins if he refuses the standard amount.

I love both small world world board games and this expansion adds more difficulty to ether game so if you have a friend or family member who always wins, now with this they might not have as much luck. Like the description says you can have a choice to buy or pass on buying a leader to your race. If you buy one try to take over another players land completely or have a chance on your race leader being bonus points if you don't pay the ransom. That is why I love this expansion.

Minus back space efficiency for the larger boxes of Small Worlds it is so hard for this line to go wrong. The leaders expansion was a very nice gift!

We love Small World and this was our latest expansion. Adds to the the game. Not as great as the other expansions but still useful.

Great quick little expansion. We play that once your captain has been captured you can offer more than 2 gold to get it back--otherwise the other player has no real incentive to agree. The set includes one leader for every race that has been published.

Interesting new option to tweak your Small World games. I do enjoy the replay-ability of SW itself, but this gives you something a little different.

Solid addition to an already great game. Doesn't change the game much, just adds a little extra strategy.

Esta expansión no añade mucho, solo una ficha para cada raza con un par de reglas distintas y ya. Una ficha más da un poco más de unidades para a veces expandirse a un territorio más.Ya deberían hacer una versión que contenga las fichas de raza de todas las expansiones que han salido hasta la fecha, ya que hacen falta las de las razas de la expansión Sky Islands y las de Small World of Warcraft.

Not a huge addition, but for the true small world fans every piece is a "must buy" :)

Adds a little flavour to this already excellent game, not really a must have but OK to add for a bit of a change.
