If you look At the ingredients on the label It's full of chemicals that harm your hair. The silky smooth feeling is just a temporary result of the petroleum which locks out moisture with long term use. I found this article helpful: [...] I'm not sure how accurate it is, but why take the risk?

Excellent Treatment for Brittle Dry Hair
My husbands hair is colored long and thinning. It gets brittle and has splitends from hats and weather. Been using this product on his hair every 120days with a solid coating (cover the entire hair generously and leave it onfor hours or overnight) and it helps keep his hair moist. All hair andmake ups have chemicals in them, some good some bad. This producthas not caused any further damage and has improved his hair's longevity.This is the last of this one because they changed it to another design.I will try this one as long as I can. 7 were available I am taking 4 of the 7 justto help you all with the bargain price.
