Read-plan-do
I was halfway into reading this book when I got the survey sent to me by my boss and found out we were having a presentation at a Leadership Conference on this very material. I was thrilled and was not disappointed. As leaders, we need to start holding each other and our staff accountable, and this book teaches us how to do that and incorporate it into our daily work without it being additional work-load. It teaches you how to tap into what is important and motivating to your staff and follow-through. It explains the different frame of mind for different levels of management and then shows how to bridge those gaps by knowing what they are. Don't just read this book--take action after you do. It will lead to a better work force, better caregiver satisfaction, and that will lead to increased patient satisfaction. We have to quit talking about what to do and start taking action on what we need to do.

Reliable sender, okay condition
I recommend this sender because it was sent quickly. The book was in okay condition. I didn't expect the spine of the book to be cut but it doesn't seem like it will be a problem. They just should have mentioned the cut. There was no writing or anything. Clean pages!

Good but it takes itself too seriously
Like most business books, it 'acts' as though it has invented integrity and accountability. Yes, these may be foreign concepts to most businesses these days but they are nothing new.

Interesting concepts, hard to implement without top-level/C-suite support
This book was purchased by our SVP for a team of field-based account professionals in the health care market. The book contains some great insights for closed health-systems, especially if executive management were to get on board. Not especially helpful for our market where services are soft, clients are varied, and business occurs in multiple health-care venues across 50 states.

Excellent Book for Anyone in Business Administration, or Thinking About It
This series of books produced by the Studer Group are some of the very best business books I have ever read. If you're involved in business administration or are considering an administrative position do yourself a favor and read these books. You'll be glad that you did.
