Schmidt 888 Rollerball Refills - Blue - 6 Pack

I searched many sights to find refills for a few pens I own and sure enough, amazon to the rescue. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is the fact the refills are a wide point and not a fine point. With the wide point, the ink flows faster than I would like.

In September when I purchased these refills, I wrote a good review. Now that I've used these extensively, I must retract my earlier review. I no longer recommend this product. I put a new refill in and it writes very inconstantly. The ink doesn't flow smoothly any longer and it is prone to drying up as I write causing me to have to re-trace numbers or letter at various times. I can't write a column of numbers without having to re-write some or trace over some due to ink flow not being good. I assumed it was just one bad refill so changed to another and it did the same thing.I will not buy these again and am considering returning them.

Refills clogged on occasion and stopped working.

This cartridge provides a great color, and a great feel when writing. I find this cartridge to be as pleasing as any that I've used from more "famous" brands. It provides a very smooth, thick line of ink when writing. If your pen will accept these cartridges, I highly recommend them.

The refills skip. Too bad, but they do. I'd gladly pay double for something that didn't skip.

Schmidt has always made good refills, and these match my pen perfectly. The rollerball refills from Itoya, etc. won't fit my Bexley rollerball pen, but these do. They are also very smooth. Accept no substitutes!
