ILNP Gumdrop - Bubblegum Pink Holographic Nail Polish

When my nail tech closed due to C19 and never reopened, I decided I didn’t have the energy to find a new one as amazing as she was. I was going to go back to a simple manicure I could do at home. I must tell you however that I really really do not like painting my nails. Not because I dislike the process but because it doesn’t last! Within a day I have chips or peeling and then I feel frustrated and like I wasted the hour it takes to paint them. Because I had been going to a nail tech for several years, I did not own any polish. I used 4 different brands, all of which reminded me why I stopped painting my own nails, until I found ILNP. This polish is the best! It goes on smoothly, is easy to tidy up if you get it on your cuticles, and lasts much longer than any other I have tried. It dries quickly if you do not use too much on a single layer. I can now get a full week of no chips or peeling and two weeks if I am disciplined about wearing gloves when washing dishes or gardening. I also use ILNP base coat and their Glass Candy topcoat. I find I get the best result if I lightly roughen my entire nail plate with a file before applying the base coat. ILNP is a bit on the pricey side for polish but is worth it to me to have it last more than a day. I do wish it was available on Prime shipping.

First off, customer service, 1000 stars!! There was a small mixup with my order, it was resolved so quickly, very impressed! Amazon made it difficult so I looked the seller up online and emailed them directly!! Outstanding customer service! The nail polish, well, applied it yesterday, goes on beautifully, first coat a bit sheer, but even and easy to apply, second coat, perfect coverage, only 2 coats of color needed! Coffee Run is BEAUTIFUL! Brownish mauve, perfect, not to dark, not to light! I was making enchiladas 20 minutes after I applied the top coat, no dings, no issues! I am hoping I will have the same luck with longevity! I will be back with an update!!! So excited, my previous favorite nail polish is no longer available, this will be the third brand I have tried since they closed up shop, hopefully this is my new polish!

When I originally ordered from ILNP, USPS lost my package. Fortunately, the ILNP customer service team, specifically Brandon, was so sweet and understanding. After waiting 2 days for my package from USPS and not receiving it, ILNP sent over a replacement immediately. I was so pleased with how personable and understanding the seller was, which made me feel so much better about buying from them. When I finally received the package, the product was packaged so nicely by "Martha". The nail polish itself was exactly as pictured and I was so stoked to find out that the nail polish is amazing quality and super opaque. I took a few different pictures to really show the beautiful green, copper, gold, and purple hues that shift depending on how you look at them. I will be purchasing from this seller again -- & you should know that I never write reviews --this one was worth it!! :)

So I've never been one who got into cute manicures or nail colors. Sure, I like to paint my toenails during sandal season and enjoy finding unique colors, but I keep my fingernails short and, literally, haven't painted them for probably 10 years...until I stumbled across this brand and their array of available colors. So far I have purchased six bottles. I can't decide if Kiss and Tell or Ballet Slippers is my current favorite. But in the photos I've uploaded I have Ballet Slippers on my nails. I took a photo of the samples of the colors I have so far, both indoors and then in the sunlight so you can really see the full effect of the sparkle and shine that bursts off of your nails in the sun. Gorgeous! I'm trying to rein myself in from buying additional colors, but it's very difficult because they're just so pretty, and every time a new box arrives I fall in love with a new color!

If you ask Nail Lacqueristas from Reddit, they'll tell you that Fairy Dust from ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) is the MUST-HAVE color. If you're only going to own one ILNP polish, it should be Fairy Dust. And I can confirm that this lived up to the hype.My nails are beyond rough from eczema, but this polish let me feel joy when I saw my hands again.I've purchased ILNP bottles from their Etsy & official website before. This bottle was exactly like those other bottles in quality. It wasn't gloopy, or too thick. It was that super-workable formula that people go to ILNP to experience.If you're even the slightest bit tempted by my rough nails or this description, just buy it. If you need more reassurance, the internet is stuffed with great photos on nicer nails. Reddit is a great place to read up on how hobbyists feel.**Note: I use the essie Gel Couture top coat with all of my polish and it worked a dream with the Fairy Dust polish. It dried crazy quick (like I've come to expect) and helped show off the crazy shine in this polish.**

I love love love this line of nail polish and bought six or seven different colors that I loved to rock in the U.S. depending on my mood but when I took these polishes to West Africa and they were exposed to tropical, high-humidity temperatures, they became tacky and sticky even 2-3 weeks after application! The polish would even stick to my socks and then the sock fabric would imprint on the polish ruining the finish, even after I used a top coat. I recommend they alter the formula (if possible) to withstand tropical heat and humidity.

I really like ILNP colors I ended up buying more from their website. I love that it has a non glitter glitter in it and it comes off easy with remover. I don't like that it chips but I also can't tell if maybe its my nails. I used acrylic dip for a few nails that were chipped and it eventually chips off so it might be part of the problem and not actually the product itself. The nice thing though is I can just touch up any chipped spots and that seems to work well.

This brand makes really high quality nail polish, I was able to wear it for 4 days with no chipping. The color is pretty and accurate to photos, it just didn’t stand out as much as I thought it would, but I’m more of a neon colors fan. I feel like if your skin tone is darker or tanner the color would pop more for you.
