Was exactly what I needed for my 3000 Ford tractor
Fit perfectly just needed to drill hole in top part and put washer and cotter pin in it so it doesn’t come out of top bracket

Not an exact fit had to modify
Not an exact fit had to drill a hole so I could put a washer and cater pin in it because ford tractor hood hanger hole is 2 times bigger than this rod Hinse the 3 star review

Did not fit my tractor
I did not return it, because I am not sure if my tractor is missing something for the hood prop rod or not. But, so far, it does not work on my Ford 2600.

Much Better Than Expected *Edited*
I recently purchased a ‘17 Jeep Compass in need of a hood rod, which was like a needle in a hay stack with all the hydraulic rods, and fairly expensive on eBay. I have a torch and was thinking I’d just bend this one when it came in if it didn’t fit... at first site, it was way shorter than I thought, but upon installation, it fit the Jeep perfectly, no adjustment needed. Snaps perfectly into place only costing a tiny fraction of the price. And it was an early delivery!**Edit**Second oil change and down came the hood... rod bend in half and dented the hood of the car a little... back to the 2x4 until I find a stronger rod :(
