TravelproBold Lightweight Rugged Backpack, Fits up to 15.6 inch laptop and tablet sleeve, Blue/Black

I purchased this item back in 2016 for School and Travel. It has carried many large text books in it just fine during the school years, with it's form the books would sometimes shift around inside. It seems to work the best when it is stuffed full. It has allowed me to stuff it full of items during airplane travel as well. The laptop sleeve close to the back of the user holds my 15.6" Chromebook I have had during my time of ownership just fine. The second pocket that has a soft inner lining may not fit a 15" laptop, but could suit well for an ipad. The backpack has a form to it, so it won't collapse into a smaller form factor. Despite this, I have been able to stuff it under multiple airline's seats just fine and haven't been questioned about the size of my personal item. Like another reviewer I too have a small bit of string hanging from the top next to the top handle screw. It hasn't increased in length since I have had it. Rather it has gotten shorter from me cutting it shorter. I haven't had any zipper problems with this bag. There are times when the inner lining of the main compartment gets caught into the zipper when I have the bag stuffed so full. There is a water bottle pocket on the side that I have been able to stuff a 1L nalgene bottle into during travel. Upon unzipping their is elastic band that stretches to hold it in. I have gone through the airports with my bottle stuffed in that spot many times. The side pouches are quite roomy but do get in the way at times below the airline seats, but has held up and not broken. When traveling with my laptop I typically stuff the computer cables into one of the side pouches. Inside the accessories area there is a small carabiner type strap that I typically can clip my keys to. This pouch feels constrictive when full of pens and pencils, but if you can use the space below that there is plenty of room to include more items. There are a few locations throughout the bag that have some frayed stitching at this point, but nothing that has affected the use of any of the items after all these years of neglect from my travels. I love using the luggage strap to drop the bag off onto my luggage handle when in the airport. As much items as I fill the bag up with can make it fairly heavy and walking miles in the airports can get uncomfortable with this bag. Especially when a laptop is in. Overall I would give it 5 stars because of all the times I have traveled and used this bag, nothing has made me doubt my purchase.

This compact backpack is small enough to use as a personal item on an airplane, but surprisingly roomy, with space for a laptop, a change of clothes, and everything else I need for an overnight trip or a long flight. It seems sturdy, and fits over the handle of my TravelPro Carry-on Bag.

Got this as a gift for my grandson. I know he wii love it as I do. Its lightweight but appears to be very well made andVery sturdy with plenty of storage space including a place for a water bottle.

I like the overall look of this bag - and it definitely feels rugged and durable. It takes a moment to “get” the expandable nature of the bag / but when it’s fully “unzipped” it definitely adds space. Just did a 5 day trip in it and it performed well, held what I needed and looks good. Wheels are great!!! Some reviews didn’t like the straps - what minor adjustments you have to make to get around them feels minor to the extra security I felt when using the straps. Had my old bag for nearly 20 years - literally used it til the wheels fell off - I have a good feeling I’ll be rolling this one for just as long. Bought the green 21 inch carry on and thinking about purchasing the bigger one for any trips over a week - if the quality and feel are just as good I’ll be set!!

I bought this piece of luggage for a one month trip, 2 weeks of which were traveling to 4 different locations in Japan. I’ve typically used a backpack but was looking for something to pull on wheels (and not those spinners that can get sheared off by baggage handlers.) I was a little hesitant at first due to some of the reviews but this seemed to be my best option. Excellent choice!This is one of the most perfect carryon bags I’ve used over many decades. The zippers perform perfectly and the side cinch straps do their job well. Ignore the comments of people who had difficulty with those particular items - they are not a problem.Plenty of room for a 2 plus week traveling as you do not need a humongous suitcase to travel. If you stay in hotels in Japan and other Asian countries you don’t want anything bigger as many hotel rooms are small and navigating large luggage on planes, trains and other public transportation is a nuisance.I’ll be interested to see how this weathers traveling over the next several years but I see nothing in the design or materials that suggest there will be problems. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of this bag so if you’re looking for something that meets airline carryon metrics and can pack lots of your stuff while surviving baggage handlers (when a small plane has little/no carry on space), buy this bag.

I really like all the various pockets. I also really like the quality of the construction.

It is an excellent carry on, yes it is not cheap, it's a little bit heavy, but the reason is that it is secure, sturdy. You will enjoy, that's why flight crews use it.
