Soak&Sleep Cosy Duck Feather & Down Duvet, Great value, mid weight, ethically sourced - Emperor - Summer (4.5 Tog)

This honestly is the best feather duvet we have had; and we have had a few!Our main issue with feather duvets is being jabbed or scratched by the feathers randomly due to them poking through the material. In the past, this has also resulted in a bedroom covered in random feathers and many minutes lost trying to find that one feather that is poking out and scratching you as you try to settle down. We tried many differing brands and duvets and found the same issue with them all so were surprised when we tried this one and have hardly had any feathers escaping! No scratches, no jabs, and no looking like a bird has been trapped in our bedroom with feathers flying everywhere! Very very impressed.the duvet is a great light weight and we do not find we get bunching and clumping of feathers in one area. There are about 4 buttons at the top and bottom along the duvet, which are a but strange and a new encounter - assumedly designed for buttoning duvets together or for adding covers on securely? This can be a bit weird as you can of course feel them through the cover but it doesn't detract from a great product overall. Its just warm enough on cold weather to keep you from getting cold, and just cool enough to stop you overheating in summer! Having used it for several months before reviewing, I can confidently say we would get another!Pros = just the right tog, NO FEATHER CLUMPING OR LEAKAGE!!!!Cons = Buttons can be annoying on duvet.

We bought this duvet recently to replace our old summer one and quite honestly I wish we’d done it much sooner. It’s lightweight but you can still snuggle in to it on cooler nights and we don’t find it too warm when the weather is hotter. There is a slight smell but nothing terrible, in fact I like it. Altogether we love our new duvet and would recommend it to anyone.

I now have 3 of these in the 9tog, one for each child & they love them. They have a lovely weight so they fall about you rather than just laying over the top. They are noisy compared to a non-naturally filled duvet, but I think that's standard now due to the anti-allergy covers.Not quite the same level as luxury as down filled but for the money I really can't recommend these highly enough. No smell either which I was expecting due to them being duck feathers. Hopefully the filling will stay put in the pockets over time. Added bonus of buttons on the corners so you can add other quilts for wintertime if it's especially cold.

I love this, but it is far too warm. I thought I was ordering the all-seasons one (made up of 2 thinner ones). I didn't read the description properly. I had intended on using the thinner one for now (summer) then throughout the year utilizing the thicker options. For now, it is packed away until the winter. I am looking forward to using this as the quality feels lovely.

We chose this duvet because it was very well reviewed on Amazon and because Soak & Sleep were recommended by Which? and came 2nd in their tests/customer reviews. The down is stitched into 'squares' to keep it in place and the squares are small so the down can't slip about too much. Some people said in their comments that it smelled too much of ducks - we've not noticed this and are comfortably warm which is what we wanted - our 10.5 tog was just too cosy for the summer.

This duvet is absolutely fantastic! We have had many duvets during our 41 years of marriage but none can compare with this one. It is light and wraps itself around you beautifully. We live in a cold part of the country and really appreciate the lovely warmth his duvet gives. A really superior product.

Well made. Quality feel. No particular smell that I can detect as has been mentioned in other reviews. It is a bit noisy but don't understand why that is a particular issue. You can't hear it when you're sleeping after all. Much more breathable than my previous man made fibre 4.5 tog. Would definitely buy again.

This product is of very good quality and very warm for the summer nights. On the downside, the product has squares thus distributing the down and feather evenly, preventing me from shaking the down and feather to the bottom of the quilt to remain cool. it would be must better if the squares were removed and replaced with rows, that way I would be able to move the duck and down to the bottom of the bed. I look forward to the real winter and cold night to benefit from this product. I will certainly purchase again.
