I saw a similar personal alarm on the backpack of a young woman recently and started to search for one for myself. I found this alarm after reading the reviews for the other alarm and decided that this one was the better of the two. The number of decibals was higher and pricing was better too.I bought them for myself and the two woman who take care of my mother-in-law on a 24/7 basis. They are great and I want to be sure they are safe when out and about on their own. My husband decided that he wanted one also when I showed him how they work and how loud they were. I still have 4 left as either backups or additional gifts.I tested all 8 alarms, since one or two reviewers mentioned that they had received some that were not working. All 8 were loud as could be. Great item to give as gifts this holiday season.

I bought these as little Christmas gifts for all of the females in my family, and will be keeping one for myself. I’m 25 and have girl cousins in college and high school. I know we’ll all feel safer knowing that we have this at our disposal. They are really cute and light weight, and also very very loud. I wish they were a little bit smaller, but that’s my only qualm. I’m a little concerned with how well they will hold up to normal wear and tear, or occasionally being dropped, but we’ll have to wait and see on that one. The LED light is a nice added bonus. It’s way more convenient than trying to use the flashlight on your phone. Overall, it’s a great product at a steal of a price - not to mention the peace of mind that these will bring for all of us. Definitely worth the purchase.

WOHOME Safe Personal Alarm 8 count: I was pleased with the quality of this product EXCEPT one of the 8 did not have a working battery. ( It would be nice to have replacement batteries for that one, if only I knew how to make that request.) I also wanted a personal alarm to use in the house, something with an adjustable noise level. In lieu of that, this choice is good and loud and suitable for everyday protection. Everyone should carry a personal alarm for protection.

I ordered the 8 pack, tested every one when they arrived, every one works! The alarm is loud. You have to remove the pin for it to go off, but the pin is quite secure, it's not loose like it won't slip out unless pulled firmly. I think I'll shorten my pin cord so it doesn't catch on anything in my bag. Anyway, I like them.

I just bought two 8 packs of these devices and each of them work GREAT! The sound is ear piercing, people came running to my office as I tested each device. The flashlight is bright and the device is small and light weight. We're excited to raffle them all off to members at orientation.
