these ones are indeed nice for day wear
As I have used a couple of brands of natural feminine pads for a few years, these ones are indeed nice for day wear. Others are too short, but I have found these as 'good' after washing and shrinking. They too hold up well, this is my second order of this brand.Though as I just received my new shipment, all the snap rings on outer section is red. Red?, you mean paint on my organic pads? Paint comes off...somewhere. Since these are indeed washed with other things I'd rather not have paint 'particles' in this laundry, I was very disappointed at this. Sure it looks 'pretty', but please there are 'us' whom really want 'all natural'. Now I need to try and figure out how to change this??? And I have no idea how, yet. My first order a good/great time ago, did not have this issue at all, they were completely metal. These are well worth the purchase and are MUCH healthier than synthetic compounds in 'store - bought' somewhat paper products... . This natural product smell less than ('during the time') than the synthetic types. For real. As well as with a natural product one can put a drop of 'pure and real' lavender on each one before wearing... not only does it smell nicer...but it is comforting to the delicate tissues going through a cleansing process. Not that I do it right, but maybe this point may help someone out there.... We have a covered 2 Gal. or so, glass container during use cover the top with a cotton handkerchief. After use, I just place them in there. They do dry out, yes. When ready to wash, I place them in a stainless steel container (private area) with cold water and leave for a couple of hours. Believe it or not...most comes out there alone (it blows me away), then I rinse in tub, soak in H202 with water then wash in washing machine as normal. Myself, I do not let them sit in water right after use.... 'for me, life sometimes happens and cannot get to them right away, and I do not want them to like 'rot'... Hope that helps someone, they work great for me and some of my relatives.Have a safe day!!

They do the job well...
(review is same for both long and regular WillowPads)I expected these to be more of a skin tone color, but they are a light unbleached color. This doesn't affect my review at all, but feel it's good to note.I really do like the design of these. I haven't used more than one liner in them, as one seems to be enough. They absorb well, and I haven't had any leakage issues. I do replace pads often though. These are far more comfortable than disposable pads, and they aren't bulky. I feel much fresher and cleaner with these (not something I expected from a pad, but I'm liking this about the cloth reusable options). For the most part, they are easy to clean, but they will stain if you don't pre-scrub and/or pre-soak them. They clean up a little better than Glad Rags (also use liner inserts), but not as easily as Imse Vimse and Mama Cloth brands (both are all in one type pads without liner inserts). I noticed they will shrink up in the dryer, if I am not paying attention. These will also wrinkle and go slightly out of shape, especially if you keep in the dryer too long.Overall, these are a great reusable alternative to the traditional disposable feminine products. The long are great for regular and nighttime use, while the regulars are better for normal to lighter flow. I prefer the WillowPads' liners more than Glad Rags' (but I've only tried Glad Rags nighttime pad with liner).

Very comfortable
Very comfortable and soft, and even though there's no waterproof layer they are absorbant enough and I haven't had any leaks. They each come with one insert and you can buy extra inserts to use multiples on heavy flow days. I love that they are 100% natural organic fabric, I definitely notice the difference between these and even other cloth pads. These are more comfortable and less irritating to my skin, especially after wearing a pad constantly for several days in a row. The PUL fabric on other cloth pads seems to cause more sweating/smell and get uncomfortable quicker, while these don't. A few possible negatives worth noting:1) They do shrink a little bit in the wash2) They are not very stiff after being washed and come out a little wrinkled, but still work great when straightened out3) Stains. The fabric is light, blood is red- blood stains stuff... they will be stained.4) Like most cloth pads they slide up or down in the panties when you walk around, and thus need to be adjusted frequently, but I safety pin it at the top to my panties and it stays in place perfectly.5) More expensive than most cloth padsDespite the negative factors I mentioned they are still my favorite cloth pad, in my opinion they are worth paying a little more for if you value the better quality of natural fabric.

Shrinkage
It was claimed to be a long pad. It shrunk down to a liner. I like the design but fabrics, especially hemp need to be washed and dried at least 5 times before sewing.

Soft and absorbent. Great for minor incontinence.
Love these. Very soft. Use one or more inserts as needed. I usually soak in water with baking soda or mild detergent before washing to get them completely clean. I have to wear a pad everyday and these are gentle and earth-kind.
