Southpaw Special Needs Cuddle Swing - 40 x 40 Inches

This not the same as on the picture the fabric material does not stretch that much, the material has tiny holes in it and they charge a restock fee.

Ordered swing for my son. No stretch, uncomfortable, really difficult to get in and out. My son has special needs (Down syndrome) and this was a horrible swing for him to try to use. On top of it all, customer service was impossible to work with and they charge for a restocking fee and shipping if you want to return!

My 3 year old autistic son really loves this swing. It really helps to sooth him. We notice reduced stemming while and after he's been in his cuddle swing. He weighs 34lbs now and really appreciates the sensory compression this offers him. Recently we've also been working music therapy in with his swing time at home just like he gets during his out-patient therapy sessions.

When I ordered this product I ordered multiple and I had to use them all within a month of each other because the stitching on this is TERRIBLE. It is very fragile. Not something for kids or special needs to say the least. I contacted customer service and she told me that we were probably not using the swing properly. A swing...how is that even possible. We got the adult one, so our clients could use it with not even being close to the weight limit. Then when I sent her the picture she didn't even get back to me.Never will I order this or any other product from southpaw ever again!

We purchased this swing to enhance our at-home movement therapy. All three of my boys LOVE it. It does different things for each child... It calms my oldest boy with the snug containment and gentle swing. It helps my youngest with the vestibular stimulation he needs from steady rotation. My middle guy likes to climb it like a vine and swing!We paired this with a Southpaw Safety Rotational Device so this thing spins and swings around like a dream. It is very well constructed of a non-stretch breathable fabric, with the two openings securely bound. We've had it about a month now and it shows no signs of wear.We hung ours about one foot off the floor for easy entry and the kids have no problem getting in or out of it. If I had the room, I'd buy two more!
