The Legend of Zelda - Classic NES Series

The product came in much quicker than expected and was exactly as described.

The game is classic it’s 1986 classic it’s really good I am glad that I bough this for my ds lite with its fantastic backwards compatible with game boy advance games

The Zelda series is arguably the greatest series of games of all time. Recent releases like Ocarina of Time and Link to the Past are some of the most polished and well made games in history. And it all started with this game...The original Legend of Zelda still is a blast to play to this day. The graphics are decent, the sounds and music rock, and the gameplay and fun factor are through the roof. This game is still extremely tough and this is what gives it half of its fun. You cant just breeze through this game without some reflexes or care. Just see what happens when you try and rush through a room full of blue Darknuts. ;)This game has spawned countless other titles over the years and was the first game that actually allowed you to save and continue your game at a later time. This game was absolutely GINORMOUS back when it came out, even though it can easily be beaten in about 3-5 hours today. Plus, picking up the Red Ring, and changing Links color, still puts a smile on my face today.For this price, it is a crime not to pick this title up for the GBA or DS. The gameplay, fun, and challenge of one of the greatest games of all time should not be passed on by anyone.

The Legend of Zelda series is one of the greatest action/adventure video game series of all time.This is a port of the original NES game that started the series; the sound quality is surprisingly not as good as in the original but otherwise it plays the same.The original Zelda lacks many elements which would become common in later Zelda titles but it is still fun and full of secrets to discover. A word of warning to players more familiar with the most recent games, however: this game is quite challenging, particularly without a guide or walk-through!

The controls on a game boy were a little odd and I honestly prefer the NES itself more but the game as a whole I like....although I forgot how hard it is especially in the beginning with only three hearts. Still finished it though and still like the game and series as a whole only now... I can take it anywhere (that's probably my favorite part)

In my whole life I have beaten this several times. More primitive than modern Zelda and the best way to save, unfortunately, is dying. 2 quests, 9 dungeons each. Great game.

This game is an instant classic and this is the first time i played such an old game. Don't get me wrong The Legend of Zelda is an awesome game but it is very challenging as well. I have beaten it and it was sure worth it and i loved the legend of zelda classic NES game. Thank you for hosting this game Amazon thank you.

This is a great game that is identical to the nes version. Unfortunately that also means it is tough to play and figure out what to do/where to go. Without a walkthrough you can wander for days accomplishing nothing, but at least you can save - a great add on. Overall still classic and very good. Great bargain for $10. Check it out and enjoy!

Exactly as fans of the NES original will remember it! Disappointingly, there are no attempts to correct the few (but noticeable) flaws. But if you loved the original, go for it.

I received my game not knowing it came without a box or manual and to make things worse the game didn't even work.Very poor indeed

Was soll man zu diesem Spiel großartig sagen? mein Vater hatte damals das alte Zelda und ich bin mit der Zelda-Reihe groß geworden. Für jemanden, der sich dafür begeistern kann, ist dieses Spiel ein muss. Wer hingegen Grafik wie bei Crysis 3 unbedingt braucht, wird mit diesem Spiel nicht glücklich.
