It does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I candy cane wrapped it around our garden hose. We have been having freezing temperatures the last few nights. No frozen hose or pipes. Keeps a steady temperature so no chance of freezing or melting the hose. I would recommend the company make the power cord MUCH longer. 24 inch power cord just isn’t long enough. Make sure you plug in and warm up the cables before wrapping. Two people would be super helpful. Great value.

I installed 2 30 foot cables on. Hot and cold water lines in a crawl space to prevent the pipes from freezing. I also wrapped them in fiberglass insulation as recommended by the manufacturer. They kicked right on and have been working for the past month. Very affordable andade real well. They come with the tape to attach them to the pipes every 10 feet.

Used for my water pipe ( to keep my pipes from freezing) under my mobile home has been working great! Easily installed in less than 15 mins!

This is the second time I have purchased this product. I forgot that it is best to measure where you want to use the product as having too much left over or changing the way that it is installed to make it work. It is a stiff cord so need to know that when having easy access to wrap its easy to install, if in a difficult location such as working under a craw space it can be difficult to work with.

Works great and just enough to keep my batteries warm in an insulated box during winter, which is a pretty critical application because if it were to get too hot, it could cause a runaway event with the batteries (lithium). Of course I installed it with the proper spacing and do not attach it to the batteries themselves. Would definitely buy again and recommend to others for use with pipes or anti-freeze applications.

I've been using these for over a month now, and they are holding up well. I like how the plug lights up, so you know they are still working. It's an easy way to check. I've wrapped these under insulation tape, which was an easy process as well. As long as you dont spread the wraps too far, they'll keep your water from freezing no problem at all!

We used this on our well pipes to keep it from freezing and it works great!

Tested good before installing. I like its ability to over wrap itself for valve and water meters safely. Its a bit stiff to work with thou. Has better tolerance to moisture or wetness unlike other heat tapes. I have used two for my own purpose and recommended to a friend to use which he did with this purchase.

Good product. As on ad- correct length for what we needed- on farm in winter we need to make sure cattle have water 24-7. Easy to wrap around pipes and plug in.

Unfortunately came with no connector as the plaque is not connectable to english sockets, in addition it turned out to be for 110 volt connection which was not stated on the website. Hence I had to return the item.

What a life saver, when I take the thermostat part off the pipe I can feel it heat up. LOVE IT. This has saved me so much water hauling to my horses this winter.

If installed correctly this works well. We added insulation around it as well. It lasted all winter our water line didn’t freeze once and we had temperatures get to -40c
