I never thought I would have so many opinions about washable pee pads, but now that I have discovered them, I have tried out several different styles. These are functional and easy to wash, but they are not super absorbent and do not hold in the smell. Even when washed, there seems to be a slight odor afterwards. The heavier quilted variety seem to absorb both the liquid and the smell, which means they can be used a few times before needing to be washed.

I got 2 sets of 2 and I love them, it does fantasticly as a bottom for my chinchilla cage. Absorb the pee but stay relatively dry.
