These magnetic puzzles books are fantastic! I have 3 of them now because my toddler loves them so much. Endless fun, high quality and portable due to the really cute design - . Highly, highly recommend.

Good: sturdy, nice looking, interesting game together - learn animals' names, basic body parts, create "absurd" animals.Great for learning, memory and fine motor skills.Not so good: small magnetic "play field " - only made to fit one animal at a time, if you really try you may fit two small... so if you want to get more game out of it get a digger magnetic board or move to the fridge.I would buy this as a present for 1 or 2 y.o.

My kids love animals! This is the perfect low stimulating item for them to have endless fun playing with everyday. They enjoy picking an animal card for each other and then having the other one create the animal on the magnetic board. We love mixing and matching the characters and creating our own name for them. I have found that this has helped my son work on hand eye coordination and his matching and comparing skills about the animals characteristics. We bring this item everywhere we go and it never gets old.

Bought for our 2.5 yr old who hates the car. She seems to like it, but I'll have to update as to how much use it really gets later. I'm sure she'll enjoy it even more as she gets older if she doesn't destroy it first. She has already bent and torn a couple of the magnets.It's a nice set, but I gave four stars for a few reasons:1. It's twice as big as I thought. Not really all that travel friendly. It would fill a child's backpack up without much room for much else. It's about the size of a sheet of paper, a few inches thick (I haven't actually measured or looked to see if measurements are in the description.2. I suppose it's not really feasible to make it smaller because as it is, once you put the tree magnet on and a person or two there's not room for much else except all the little magnets that are about the size of peas. I'm sure most of these will get lost.3. The magnets are puffy made with cardboard and just a thin magnet layer, so you can't put things on top of each other (a person can't stand in front of the tree if you're using one of the tree magnets, for example). It would have been nice to be able to layer. They would have been more durable if they were just a thick magnet sheet with the picture on it, but then the pea sized ones would really be impossible to use and keep track of.4. The book doesn't magnet closed! If it's not laying flat it will open, so I have a rubber band around ours.I like the theme of this one, but the people are bit too comical for my liking.

My son loves playing with this, it’s a great quiet activity. Easy to store and good quality. Looks and feels quality made.

I purchased this for my three-year-old and he has been playing with it non-stop for the past 48 hours since he received it. He is obsessed with dinosaurs and also enjoys puzzles, so this is right up his alley. All of the dinosaurs are the well-known ones so I think he enjoys knowing all the names and body parts. This is a great screen-free toy and would also be great for road trips, restaurants, doctor's office visits, etc. where you need an activity that will hold your kid's attention without requiring a tablet or phone!

I bought this for my 4yo and 6yo. My newly 6yo loves it the most. She loves creating different animals and she even came up with a game to play using the animals and the cards, kind of a guessing game. She also likes to pretend she's reading it like a book to trick people into thinking she's reading since she can't read yet.It's a beautiful "book". Bigger than expected but I didn't look at the measurements so that was on me. I bought it to bring on a flight and the size made that a little bit of an issue. My 6yo has been playing with this all day long today at home. She loves the size.The magnetic pieces are quite strong and the images are clear and adorable.You can fit 2 completed animals at a time that fit in the background. All of the pieces and the super durable animal cards fit into the "book". The book opens up and has a ribbon so the background image stays up for an upright work surface.Highly recommended!
