Lindo Neptune V3 All Black Electro Acoustic Guitar with F-4T Preamplifier - Matte Black (Steel Strings)

I purchased the Neptune after my son identified it as the guitar he aspired to own. With it's unusual sound hole placement and curious pointy design, it stands out from the sea of generic beginner guitars as an instrument with character. The guitar was packed in a protective wrap, in it's padded gig-bag in the box and was very secure. The finish is a pleasing matte black satin with pearl white edging. The neck is a light coloured wood that contrasts nicely. The instrument was strung out of the box and only needed a quick tweak with the built in tuner (battery included!). Plugging in, it is easy to play with a lowish action and sounds lively - this will no doubt mellow a bit with playing. It produces a wholesome sound which is perfect for the aspiring rock-star. The addition of a gig bag, capo, strap, picks, string winder and truss-rod key make this a complete package that I am very impressed with. My son is absolutely delighted and I have no doubt that playing an instrument he loves will improve his playing output no end. Thank you Lindo.

Lovely guitar in all respects - looks, tone. Action a tad high but not a big issue. Only problem is, when I play the Open G shape or engage the high E string with any chord the string catches under the bevelled edge of the frets and gets stuck there, muting the whole string. This is a real issue and maybe a bit of a design flaw. The bevelled edges of the frets are not smooth either. In fact, quite sharp. I'm going to attempt to file them down and hope that I don't mess up the guitar. This is not what I expect from a £299 guitar, to be frank. The main reason I'm giving this fewer than 5 stars. Shame really.

For the price, I'm blown away by this guitar. The pictures on Amazon don't do it justice, it really is an elegant, handsome instrument - classic lines, silk finish matt black and unique looks; with the different placement of the sound hole it really is a conversation starter. Retro and futuristic all in one. I had looked at a lot of guitars before settling on this one - the matt finish and sound hole made me wary initially - but I'm so glad I decided to give it a try after viewing their video on YouTube and reading the positive reviews. I looked at a lot of Lindo guitars and it's worth checking out their site as there are lots of videos highlighting the different models available which I found invaluable.It arrived quickly, within two days of ordering, securely boxed and with included the gig bag and amp cable. It feels light in the hand but really solid and sturdy. Some very minor tuning required, using the built in tuner was a doddle. Strings are low to the fretboard with an easy action. The sound is just lovely - bright and clear with real resonance to the bass.My only slight niggle is the lack of any sort of scratchplate, but not enough to lose a star. Give it it try, you won't regret it.

I bought a Neptune guitar from Lindo and it's an amazing guitar. I just love the sound, especially how every chord really rings out perfectly with no buzz off the low E string! The quality of the design and the feel of the guitar are exceptional, considering it only cost £199. It came with a gig bag, lead, strap, capo and a pair of plectrums, too, which just adds to the overall value. The speed from ordering to being delivered was great. I live in Glasgow and it was sent from Bristol and it arrived next day. Fantastic guitar and fantastic customer service. I would recommend their guitars to anyone!

For the price, amazing guitar between the sound and the playability.My only note was i had to buy luthier's tools to smooth down the edges of the frets. I play thumb over the top a lot of the time and it was getting absolutely torn to shreds. Even after 10 minutes playing it would cut. After smoothing down the edges I haven't been able to put the guitar down.Great product.

I am so happy with this guitar it sounds amazing to an looks really smart plus you get a a Jack leads a padded Quality bag and a packet of plectrums and a tool to adjust the guitar well worth the money And good customer service keep it up Lindo

I'm a beginner to the guitar side of music, but have been playing violin for 12 years. Thought while i'm home doing nothing I'd start self teaching this lil instrument. Didn't want to go all out cheap and of course didn't want to go all out and buy something way out of my beginner's league. So i went right in the middle and bought this beauty. As soon as I saw this on reviews and the matte finish i was hooked. Bought it the second day of researching guitars.In my opinion the tone is perfect mix of highs and lows and the unique design is gorgeous. Great guitar to start off with and still a great guitar for higher levels as the build is solid and the electro acoustic functionality is extremely practical. I'd always suggest going for an electro acoustic over just an acoustic.Thanks for making this piece Lindo :)
