Face

"Face" is an early 2000s South Korean horror film.Not unlike "Arang", another South Korean horror film from the same time period, "Face" features a detective/thriller twist that makes it stand out from the multitude of super natural horror films. Unfortunately this twist does little to keep many cliches from crawling their way into the 85 minute run-time of this film. Tropes being present is one thing, but the jump scares and even the climax in "Face" are so predictable and rushed, that it is hard to care for anything that's happening on screen.If you're new to the genre, this might be a good starting point/foundation, otherwise there isn't much worth watching in here. Featuring annoying characters, a slow pace, a predictable twist, and no emotional punch; "Face" is a forgettable entry in the South Korean horror genre.

An excellent story line about a woman coming from the afterlife to help findher killer. A doctor uses stolen heartsfor transplants to his patients. Watch themovie, the ending will help you to understand. A very good movie and story.

I was surprised by this movie. I wasn't expecting what unwinded in this plot. It's about a man who works with clay to create a face to skulls found at crime scenes. He is helped by an assistant (intern) who is learning so much from her instructor. He, under the stress of trying to cope with a young daughter who received a heart transplant, doesn't realize that there is something odd about his assistant and how she and his daughter have a bonding that unravels at the end of the movie. I was expecting fear as with other Asian Horror but instead I got a wonderful and touching movie. It was different from the norm, it's worth buying.

I enjoyed this movie very much, excellent acting and just the right amount of suspense. Not sure why this movie is listed as a horror movie though. There are some scenes(not many) of the supernatural but nothing really scary. And to be honest those few scenes could be removed entirely and it woudn't affect the movie one bit sadly, they're totally pointless to the movie, like someone just added them because they thought it looked cool.

As a fan of Asian horror films, this one didn't really match my expectations. I thought it was heartless. Some of the twist in the story were not that elaborated. I don't think is bad, though.

This movie was very good, but not really a horror movie. It is more of a murder mystery, but I personally like them. The supernatural twist is fairly predictable, but a good movie nonetheless.

The plot is about a CSI agent that wants to retire and his boss wants him to work with a female rookie on a strange serial murder case.

Face est un direct-to-video, ce qui n'est jamais vraiment bon signe.Et en effet, on peut constater que cette enquête policière, plutôt fascinante au premier abord, se voit malencontreusement affublée de quelques séquences de terreur complètement stériles pour deux raisons : déjà parce qu'elles sont stéréotypées et surtout... parce que le film peut s'en passer sans aucun problème, ce qui est pire!Face n'est pas foncièrement désagréable, et même intéressant dans sa partie enquête à base de reconstitutions faciales, mais se gâche par un manque de personnalité et une orientation horrifique totalement vaine.
