Picked this up for our swimming pool area, and absolutely love it.It's easy to read from all the way across the pool, and has just the right amount of style; it perfectly splits the difference between the bland industrial lines of a clock in a psychiatric ward, and the obtrusively ornate look of something you might find in a cheap pseudo-Venetian wish-it-was-Italian restaurant.The size is perfect as well. I was worried that it would be too small (and thus difficult to read from a distance), or too large and comically disproportionate to its surroundings (and thus more suited to a Terry Gilliam film), but like mama bear's porridge, it's just right.As far as accuracy goes, well, so far so good, but the mechanism itself is straightforward enough, and in this day and age, timekeeping isn't exactly rocket surgery. Besides, as reasonable as the price is, if I have to tweak the minute hand once a month, what does it really matter?Finally, one of the little things that I really appreciate was that a couple of weeks after I'd received this clock, the seller reached out to me to make sure that everything was to my liking, and to see if I'd had any problems. Yeah, I know, it's just good brand marketing, yadda yadda, but still... it's not common, and it's good to see companies that care about their customers for _any_ reason.5 out of 5, would buy again.

Update: June 17, 2023. Company sent me a replacement for first defective clock. Have had replacement hanging in covered patio. The face has become totally distorted and curling up all along edges causing hands to stick, temperature to not function and becoming unsightly. Time proved it doesn't last.Update: Oct 8, 2022 - still working fine and looks great. Time will tell (ha ha!) if it lives up to expectations.Update: after posting my initial review, the company reached out. Their customer service was excellent. I explained the issues and that the clock was now totally non-functioning. They offered to replace it after almost a year. While the one I originally purchased was out of stock, they allowed me to choose another clock. It has arrived, looks great and hopefully, will last awhile. I would purchase again from seller just because of the excellent customer service!Original Review: While it is easy to read, the numbers are slightly off so it never looks quite right when hanging. Didn't last even a year, hour hand is off by half now so when 6 o'clock, hour hand is half way between 6 and 7. And no way to fix. Regret the purchase.

We had a solar-powered (rechargeable) outdoor clock...similar construction, that lasted for years. Finally, the clock face faded from sun exposure. Ah well. We wanted a solar-powered rechargeable version again, but there are very few options. Not a problem as I do have rechargeable batteries that can be used in the clock anyway - AA NiMh..works great. We hung the clock on our deck, and our house is all brick, so...perfect! Reddish-brown-bricks with this against them works perfectly! So far, the clock is accurate, and the controls for temp and humidity are working well. The hand on the temp seems to be pushed a bit on the arrow side towards the clock face... might have to take it apart and move it around, but...minor problem, if any.The battery compartment and clock face are the two most-important waterproofing features of an outdoor clock. Both are working perfectly! The battery compartment seals... maybe a rubber gasket...I didn't check... but it tightens well with a hand-sized screw-on cover that is significantly better than our previous clock. We do not leave these outside in the winter as plastic and sub-freezing do not mix well...let alone the battery. But we hope this one lasts for years as a beautiful and informative decorative addition to our deck!

This is a nice large clock that makes reading the time very easy. I am actually very impressed with the accuracy in the hygrometer and thermometer. I compared this against my Honeywell for indoor weather and against the Weather Channel app for outdoor weather prior to hanging. Both were within 1 degree or less and 1% or less difference. I inspected the seals that are on the front plate and the battery cover and both are done very well so I expect good water resistance from this clock. I considered several clocks for my patio and this clock won with is beautiful red finish, I am happy that it's workmanship seems to be as pleasing as it's aesthetics.

Nice looking clock, however after the 2nd week, the time would not keep even with new batteries. Update: Found the temperature hand has curled into the path of the hour hand. Easy to get to and I pushed it back down. Will upgrade the rating if it continues to keep time.Updated rating. Clock is now keeping accurate time. Watch those humidity and temperature arms as they may curl and block the hour hand.

After two battery changes it is still not working properly. I had to bend the second hand because it kept getting hung up on the temperature gauge. This is a beautiful clock, but it is way to expensive for just the hygrometer and temperature gauges.Updated May 27, 2019The company sent me a new clock after reading the initial review. The new clock works great and the company has excellent customer service! As far as being waterproof, we had a tornadic storm roll through our area with winds of 65 mph and seven inches of torrential rain. I forgot to bring the clock inside. The clock survived and stayed on the wall that caught the brunt of the storm.

Looks great! Easy to read and is accurate!

Good size for outdoors. Temp gauge is always off but really need it for time.

I like the style and “old eye” friendliness of this clock. (Big numbers). Unfortunately my clock came dented.
