POWERTEC 71382 Planer Knife Lock Plate for 12-1/2" Planer, 2PK

Had to replace a Bauer planer blade guard. This fit perfectly. Looks like the original material and shape. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and order some replacement screws for it too, as the original mounting screws on the planer are soft and the hex heads have stripped on a few.

I ran a piece wood through the planer and noticed a ridge in the board. I ordered the knives. I talked my 13 yr old grandson through removing the old knives, and installing the new knives. At this point it operated like a new planer.

i bought this for a replacement for a rigid wood planer , shipped in a timely fashion and it fit as good as the original .

Exact match for my Craftsman planer. Check the dimensions, this probably fits many models of 12" planer.

I ordered these because one the OEM ones got a chunk of oak wedged underneath bending it badly and was afraid I would have to buy a new planer but then I found these and at first when I ordered them I did so with trepidation as the holes in the image seemed out of place slightly and when I got them and held them side by with the original I saw that the replacements had extra material towards the back however once I lined up the pins they fit better than the OEM ones did...so glad I ordered these now my WEN planer is like new again.

Nice knife locks for my planer, they look/feel stronger than the originals, time will tell.
