I like these tools a lot. I got them because they have a round barrel and are easier to strike with a hammer in comparison to the ones with flat handles. They seem to do the job well and are easier to hold since the handle has a knurled grip. They seem very sturdy, but will buy again if they bend or break (which I doubt).The finish and fine details are okay, but they really don't matter, especially for the price. The black oxide has tiny nicks in some places, but that's typical of oxide finishes. Again, does not affect feel and performance.Conclusion: get these tools. They are much nicer quality and easier to use than the cheap flat ones.

Only used these a few times so far, but they arrived as pictured. Good weight, prongs seems strong - no bending during use, good sharp edges too. They are short and small to handle but I see that as a pro. Will purchase other sizes.

These are OK, with the potential to be great with some time spent polishing and cleaning up the rough tines.Still orders of magnitude cheaper than higher end chisels, so I don't mind the hour or so to clean these up.

So far these have been a great set of diamond stitching irons. I pair these with some .08 flat braided thread, and use between 3-10 ounce leather to make everything from wallets to belts and muzzle loader flasks.MUCH more durable than the french pricking irons I previously purchased.

Good tools,sharp and sturdy.only thing I can see as a down side is how small they are,but I do like working with them.

These are sturdy and sharp. But, the quality control when it came to the set I received was pretty poor. The 4 prong has one tine that is noticeably thinner than the others and the 6 prong has 2 that are misaligned resulting in not having a straight line. Also, the tines on all the punches are cut so that the diamond shape is on the diagonal. So that when you go to stitching the leather, the stitches are zigzag rather than a straight line.

If used carefully and not turned or twisted when removing from leather, these are good tools. I made holsters and sheaths from heavy leather and these did the job. Use a bit of thought and care.

Works great and durable. Does not Bend when used.
