Verezano PDVD-190B Swivel Screen 7-inch Portable DVD Player

This was a good size for my toddler to use during long car rides. The screen swivels around and can be closed over the control buttons to discourage playing with the buttons, as toddlers love to do. However, it only worked for about 3 months. I know it wasn't made for kids, but it wasn't ever dropped or treated particularly rough. Now it turns on, but doesn't recognize that there is a disc in it. Just says "no disc" all the time.

This was the best investment. Works great and the volume was fine too... i saw a few complaints about that, not sure why. i also bought with it the TFY Car Headrest Mount for Swivel & Flip Style Portable dvd 7in and its a perfect match. This keeps my 2 year old occupied in the car

I play a spin class dvd in this while I ride my spin cycle and it works very well.Also I have watched dvd movies on it while I sit in my recliner.Seems to hold a charge real well so I am pleased.

For an inexpensive portable DVD player, it works great. The picture is fine (did you really expect really good resolution) for the price. The one drawback is even at full volume it doesn't play very loud. But I can work around that.

When inserting head phone the volume could be heard coming from the player. In other words, head phone compartment doesn't work, I tried different head phone still didn't work!

The unit seems solid and does its job. I was initially surprised by the thickness of the unit, especially compared to other one's I've seen in stores, but it's not unwieldy. The swivel screen seems to be a nice addition.

We bought 3 of these for a 600 mile (each way) road trip with middle/high schools kids. One started smoking on the first day! We turned it off for a bit, then turned it back on. The screen didn't work anymore, but my daughter was able to use it as a CD player. I knew these were a risk since they were so cheap, but we considered them disposable since we got 3 for right at $100. Honestly, we got our money's worth. We used them for 4 days in the car and haven't touched them since. Having said that, they are poor quality and I wouldn't reccommend them for anything other than a quick disposable item.
