Timiy Durable Metal Clarinet Thumb Rest Clarinet Thumb Protector for Woodwind Instrument

Used 2 of the 3 holes provided, but aligned well enough to reuse the holes already drilled into clarinet (2). Reused previous screws, then new thumb screw to hold bracket piece. The bracket piece thumb rest was smaller than OEM, so pads daughter already had had to be “secured”. Otherwise worked fine.

Worked great for a replacement part on my son's clarinet. Fit well and the quality is nice.

Allows a range of over 1-1/2" adjustment in the position of the player's thumb. (Be aware, though, that if mounted upside-down for positions _above_ the original location, the built-in loop for a neck strap hook becomes useless.) The lateral mounting holes are set just a shade wider than the 3/8" spacing on my Selmer CL-300, but I was able to adjust them with a needle file for a stable fit without using the middle hole.

I’ve waited for years for a reasonably priced thumb rest with an attached loop for a neck strap. Finally this is perfect. It includes attachment screws and is adjustable. The Buffet ones were $40 each. Since I teach I ended up buying six of these.

Not a horrible product however the thumb rear itself may be a little too big for the screw; it is constantly moving which makes playing a bit awkward at times.

This is a replacement for an old battered clarinet with the thumb rest missing. It fit the 3 screw holes perfectly.

this didn't fit and we returned it - description was not clear and should be updated to say what it does actually work on.
