Cards of Love: Three of Swords Kindle Edition

I loved this story so much. It is hot! It is emotional! And it makes me want to believe in second chances. Madox and Sophie are perfect examples of what flawed lovable characters read like. They each in their own right have bits that just don’t work right but they also have their strengths and everything that makes them lovable. I felt raw love and emotion, even some type of personal strength. I understood them and wanted them to just figure it out because they deserved their second chance. I also loved the way each chapter started because it added to the theme and experience of the book for me. I know I will read again…Maybe when I’m feeling a little low and need both a cry and a happy ending!

Wow! This story was amazing. Madox and Sophie has been through so much together and individually. They were inseparable and the need and want on both sides was explosive. Until that one day it wasn’t, and miscommunication happens, the words they both need to hear don’t come and their lives change forever. One text message, hurt, disappointment, emotional distress, so much passion and love for one another, but in the end when you don’t know how to show your feelings for one another how can you stay together? When fate steps in and give them another chance will they take it, or will the past be too hard to overcome? I loved this story, it was passionate, loving, the inner struggle to believe you are worthy of the other person, emotional in that they both had tragedy in their lives and not realizing that they needed to lean on each other to survive was huge, love goes both ways and when you figure that out, how can it be wrong? I highly recommend this book, you will gobble this up in one sitting.

A heated emotional tug of war, Ms. Winters takes us on Madox and Sophie's blood pumping rollercoaster of soul searching, frustrating feels, hearts on the floor forgiveness, and love mending ride.I was so engrossed in the characters; I swear the pages swiped themselves!Beautifully written, this is a spectacular addition to the Cards Of Love stories - I highly suggest checking this one out for yourself!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwww,geez...Not sure where to go here...I did. Like. This.ButI’ve never read Ms.Willows before but some how I ended up on her mailing list.....Deep sigh...Must have been some freebie that I haven’t read yet,back when instafreebie had a name that actually made sense...I don’t know...But when I saw this one I finally broke down and gave her a try,and well,I gotta say I’m feeling really mixed about it,shrugs ,hence the three stars 🌟..I know this a part of a larger series,where writers I know like Ainsley Booth are a part of ( tried hers but wasn’t feeling the whole BDSM angle,knew it was there but BDSM is something I’m VERY picky about) any way, due to that and the description I was expecting something with angst and conflict but also fun and sexy.....I don’t plan to give spoilers but ⚠️ warning ⚠️ just in case...Anyway I don’t feel that’s why got at all really....What get are two very deeply in love but hurting ppl while still needing to grow and mature in themselves and each other , their biggest problem is they ( until the end of the book) don’t know how to just sit down and have an open and honest conversation.....SighOn one hand these two came together soo young and both already hurting soo very very deeply,but sooo much pain was caused because they listened more to their own fears and other ppl instead of each other...Honestly I kinda liked them but at the same time just wanted to smack them both for dragging me into their drama , when if they’d just had a dang good conversation years of pain might have been avoided....I don’t know about you but I hate stories that henge around two ppl ‘s poor communication skills,with despite all their pain and hurt etc. was there only real problem.. her thinking he didn’t really love her and him begging her not to leave.... and while it started to break y heart every time Madox would beg in his head for her not to leave him again ( and I’d want to smack her for her selfish stupidity) and the same to him as well...dear lord these two sad,lovely but pathetically in need of a clue stick...And if anything and everything Sophie shared w/her bestie was almost immediately shared w/her brother and then the rest why wasn’t Sophie’s last txt to Madox ever mentioned ?Yeah, that doesn’t make sense...I didn’t enjoy this,the sexy times were only at the beginning and they were dripping with too much desperation and pain for me too enjoy was hoping to enjoy the next time they got together ,you know thinking a)there’d be more and b) they would take the ENTIRE story to finally down and have an open and honest communication ,one that Sophie didn’t dissolve into tears and run from... Sophie wanted to think she was growing w/out Madox but until she faced him and her fears all she was doing was becoming a better runner....I saw this story thru to the end but I was deeply disappointed,I didn’t have fun,or read about fun sexy times I just read about two hurting ppl who instead of having soo much sex three years ago should have just listened to their hearts and each other and especially not friends who tell you not to chase after your girl when they already know she wants you tooo..If this was KU I’d say give it a chance any way but since it’s not ? I can’t...
