Quickgrass Woburn Luxury Pile Artificial Grass, Green, 2 x 2 m

This has the look of a freshly mown English lawn in July, green, with flecks of brown, and deep pile without feeling too much like a shag pile rug! The mixed smaple pack was very useful to allow me to choose between the Harvington, Stratfod, Cheltenham and Woburn, but the Woburn was the perfect balance between luxury and price.

We're all familiar with astro-turf, right? Fall over on it and it hurts like hell. Not this stuff. This is really soft and much more like real grass. I don't think you'd actually mistake it for the real thing, but I like it a lot. Great for the kids to play on or for a no-maintenance garden.

I used to joke about replacing my lawn with synthetic "grass" to avoid the chore of mowing. I've moved house since then and have even more grass now so it is decidedly uneconomical to think of using synthetic grass to cover it all. However, I do have one of this problem areas in a shady spot near a wall where the grass struggles to grow. I have put this very substantial section (2m x 4m) in that area. It looks great and means no more mowing or other maintenance in that tricky area.Not a cheap option but it is very high quality.

Yes, it is fairly expensive, but the cheap artificial grass is dreadful. There are a few homes in our vicinity that have artificial grass, and the obviously cheap ones look ghastly. The better quality and properly installed ones really enhance the properties. Many people use them on our small front gardens locally.• Gardens that have dark and shady patches are difficult to grow quality grass, so Quickgrass Stratford is ideal for this problem.• Quickgrass is also useful to soften balconies, and hard landscaped gardens.
