Very disappointing for us . You could leave this in a sunny place for days and it does not charge at all. Maybe it keeps the battery from dying due to lack of charge in it. It can charge my iphone one time when fully charged and then not to 100 % . Look for a better one, This would not be the best for travel, and certainly not for hiking away from a power source. Dec. 21 2019. I would like to update this. This charger died and does not charge at all now. I can charge it for 24 hours and it does not charge at all even with all this charging time. I have a tiny 5 inch tall light-up Christmas tree that changes colors, USB powered. When i plug it into this device it does not even have enough power to make it light up after a full 24 hour charge. This ornament works with any other usb plugin .The seller states that this has an 18 month guarantee. So we will see if he is true to his word. I have contacted him. Update. I am happy to report that the seller did stand behind his guarantee. I did get a replacement product. Also want to mention it might be something was faulty on my charging ports with my first one and even when it wouldn't charge I experimented with it and noticed the flashlight is really nice and bright even though the ports for charging did not work. Can be used for a flashlight still.

So I had been making a sort of emergency kit. And one of the wants was a solar power brick. This git the bill really well. It came with a standard USB to mini-adapter (fit like my older tablets, etc. It was "standard" size). It also came with a small carabiner/hook.Mine did not have any instructions but how hard can it be? I set it in my window, let it charge for a day and then plugged it into a few devices. It depends on your cord, not the device, how fast something charges. It charged decently well and so far has been easy to use! Charge with sunlight....plug!I was able to go from 60 percent on my Android to 100, plus 50% to 100% on my tablet with one charge. It was not drained.There are two USB ports, and I did it the same time. It took a couple hours, which is how long it takes with a wall outlet and my non-high speed cords.It is about the size of another smart phone. Probably great on the go too!

Works very good. One of my favorites as it’s not too heavy, it’s rugged and water resistant. I have had it for about 1 1/2yrs and simply love it. The solar power function is main reason I purchased this product. Great for all day use on trips to the beach or mountains. I charged my camera, iPad, Samsung galaxy, and iPhone with it. I can’t remember a time that it ever died on an outing. When outdoors and using it I simply leave it in sun. Finally parted with it to give to my sis in law who’s always outdoors and her cell phone dying. She’s had it a few days (which she has been without power) and simply loves it. I will be ordering me another.

Update- The company did send me a replacement and I have been using it, kinda, but I have not been out in the wild with it yet. The fact that the company did read my original comments and reached out to me is the reason for the upgrade of my review. I am still not sure about the product yet.I took this with me to a campout and it would only take one charge then would not recharge. Not worth the weight in my ruck.

My wife and I are happy with this power bank, it has a good solid feel and charges well. I don't know if it is a full 15 k charger but it is probably close. The solar charges extremely slow, but just about all solar banks charge very slow.

I bought this for a music festival because I would be without power for a few days. I charged it at home from a wall outlet first.It charges my phone slowly but completely.I have been using it frequently when I go hiking because it's very light and portable and I kill my battery quickly by taking so many photos.I have yet to fully charge it in the sun but it did charge up a bit for the limited time I had it in the sun.I did leave it out in the rain for a while with no problem.

Save your time and hard earned money and get the real thing. Yes it's lightweight, but that's only a testament to how cheaply made it is. Sometimes it'll charge my phone, sometimes it won't. Sometimes it's receive a charge, sometimes it won't, even when plugged into a name brand wall adapter. USB ports are a sloppy poor fit and open to any and all dirt. It hasn't melted down yet but I doubt it'll have much long term battery durability.
